When my car broke down recently I found that I have reached a point in my life when bumming rides to work, or calling in is no longer an option when such car based calamities strike. Yes, dear reader, I had reached a point in my life where I craved responsibility as well as self-sufficiency (adulthood I think it is called). Unfortunately I have very little experience at being self-sufficient, but I knew where to start! I gathered phone numbers, and began shopping around. I was initially discouraged because of the three numbers I found two of them were to the same company. This company had two different names, two different phone numbers, one location, and one very rude employee who answered both phones. Not only that but these companies didn't have a single car that I could rent from them I was informed. After that experience I decided I would never use these two companies again (they shall remain nameless since you never plug the competition in a review). Downtrodden I called the last number: Enterprise. I must say that I was not down for long. As soon as I was connected with a representative I was relieved as well as thrilled due to their friendly, professional nature on the phone, the variety of cars I could choose from, rates that fit my meager budget, their incredibly simple reservation,/pickup process, and the over all convenience of the process. In less than an hour I was in a great little Ford Fiesta. I got it booked at an agreeable rate for the length of time I needed with the option to return it earlier or later depending on my needs with absolutely no hassle at all. The representatives were friendly, and I appreciated that they simply explained my options instead of trying to push extra services on me. With a simple ""No thank you"" we were on to the next topic. I especially liked that you can opt to not re-fuel the car upon return. My representative explained that they would fill it up, and at the rate of $1.90 a gallon! Not only did I have to go to the gas station, but I also saved money! After five days I returned the car, but had a bit of a predicament. My car was at a shop across town, and I had no way of getting there. Not only does Enterprise offer to pick you up I also found they'll drop you off too! I will only rent from Enterprise from now on. They really helped me out, and their rates are great! Thanks Enterprise!
