This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. The library is housed in a beautiful block-long building, and the grandness of the library lends an air of importance to the experience. The selection is quite impressive and extensive. There are also plenty of instructional tapes and videos. Don't expect to find tons of comfy chairs for hours of reading, but there are a few. There are plenty of computers with internet access, however there are time limits, and the majority of the stations are standing only. more

Baltimore's library 10/4/2005

Such a cool library! Not only is architecture so cool in the main branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, but the place is so full of history. With the invention of the Internet, libraries are not as utilized as the could be. This library offers great activities and story reading for children. They have made reading fun. more

Wonderful! 8/19/2005

The Pratt Library is an excellent place to check out books, CDs, movies, etc. The library is incredibly well stocked. The staff is very nice and will assist patrons in finding anything they need, or answering any questions. It also has computers available for use by people with library cards. It's a great way to use media materials without having to buy them. And the building itself is gorgeous and has great architecture. more

Library for Everyone 8/18/2005

This library has huge nos of books for every age starting from kids till the oldies. They also have free sessions for kids everyweek wherein they teach them new things. Every Kid just loves to go there to learn and have fun. Lots of information about the places around and also the social activities taking place in and around baltimore are listed there. place of information and really a blessed place for all book loving people. more
