I agree with the others, this is an exceptional motuary, when i lost my infant daughter, they were so very kind, compassionate, and helpful. They paid attention to every detail, i can't say enough good things. They were a blessing at the lowest point of our lives. I highly recommend this mortuary. more

My husband has served as an elder for our church in Long Beach for several years and has had the opportunity to see the England Family Mortuary at work many times over the last four years. The response is always prompt, professional and personal. Josh, Greg and Janice England treat every case with compassion, care and dignity. There is no sense of a ""generic"" funeral, the needs and the wants of each case are considered and accomodated. The England Family see their establishment as truly ministering to those who are dealing with grief. They are the people who I would have help me deal with one of the most difficult and vulnerable times in my life. Their integrity, compassion and sensitivity give me confidence to recommend them to anyone I know in need of a mortuary. more

The job Greg did conducting the service was not just professional, he was genuinely compassionate and concerned about the family. Greg aptly honored the memory and legacy of our grandmother. The England family goes above and beyond duty and responsibility to provide compassionate care and professional services during the uttermost difficult times. You hear a lot of people in business use words like character, integrity as marketing words but those words never go beyond the brochure. England family mortuary is the exception for they embody and define these virtues with genuine care and compassionate service to families in grief. If they can help, whatever it is - whenever it is - they will and they will conduct themselves with character and integrity. The family over at England family mortuary are true blessings. They operate unlike any business I've ever seen. I had the opportunity to serve in ministry beside Josh and Greg for a few years and the love and care I have personally witnessed Josh, Greg and his wife Janice pour on families has been a true inspiration. A few years ago I had the opportunity to really see the England family at work as they handled the passing of Aunt Cindy with true grace and that special je ne sais quoi. They have been a blessing to my life and others many times and are truly great at what they do. more

I can't say enough about the amazing staff at England Family Mortuary. When my mother died I had no clue what to do. All I had to do was make one phone call to the Englands (which by the way is their personal cell so you will ALWAYS get a prompt response) and EVERYTHING was taken care of. They did absolutely everything! This was one of the hardest responsibilities of my life and they took such good care of my family. From the very first conversation with them I felt like ""family"" was loving on me and helping me. You will not find a more professional, compassionate, and loving funeral home. They truly care about the families they help. I will sing their praises and recommend them to EVERYONE forever. more
