Engines Express

On a journey from central Louisiana to Fort Worth, Texas, my car broke down on I-20. AAA towed my car to Engines Express. I could not be more impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of the staff and management of Engines Express. They gave me my options and brainstormed alternatives for me to make difficult decisions. I cannot think of a single thing they could have done to improve my experience. I am so thankful to them and heartily recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, honest, and reliable car service. more

Wow where do I even start? I called them at 3:30pm and was in need of my car being fixed that day. They went out of the way and had it fixed by 5:30. The prices are the best in town and there customer service is unbeatable. I felt like I was the owner of the company how they treated me. I was followed up with a phone call the next day checking to make sure I was satisfied and then followed with a Thank You card a week later. Do yourself a favor and call Randy. It is not often today you can find a shop that will absolutely look for the best possible solution for your mechanical needs. Everyone was fantastic, from the time that we called to the time that our van was repaired. Being on the road going to a granddaughters wedding is stressful enough, but to have a fuel pump go out was too much. The gang at express were able to work us in and do the repairs, and in a very short time we were on our way. If you are ever in the Tyler area and need auto repair of any sort, give them a call. It's a smaller local place that takes the time to care. Got me in and out quick. Even sent me a card in the mail with a hand written note. Note a form letter like the big guys. 1/2 the price of the dealership for the same diagnostic. Great stuff! more

i have always had trouble finding anyone to work on my car.... most any shop around said they wouldnt work on it before i told them what problems i was having. Engines Express listen to every single thing that i had to tell them. and they fixed the overheating issue i was having in just a few hours. Even though i was going to have quite a bit more extensive work done, they let me drive the car around for the weekend no charge. then on the next monday i brought it back in and they had all the other work done in time for me to pick up on thursday. And even after the job was done the customer service and follow-up is awesome. more

Sherree at the front desk was very friendly and gracious. the atmosphere of the office was very inviting. The owners and staff called people by name and were genuinely interested in making the visit a satisfactory experience. I beleive this is a family business and it was a totally different experience than I usually have when I have to get my car worked on. From the first phone call I was very impressed. The atmosphere of the waiting room and the new client welcome bag was impressive. What I liked the most was the little booklet about Engines Express and the client comments. I think that book did more to communite your committment to service than anything I've seen with other providers. I also like the service program that you have come up with and I plan on joining that. more

I own a 1966 Mustang Fastback, and I've had it since 1986. The car was completely gone over and restored in 1993, and since then it has constantly had front end issues. I've been to multiple places to try and have it fixed, but without any luck. I've even had the front end completely replaced, to no avail. It's something I had just come to live with, and I was even considering getting rid of the car. In one last little fit of desperation, I asked Engines Express if they could take car of it. I pretty much gave them an open slate to try anything they could do to correct the problem. They came back to me not too long afterwards, and told me that the front end was fine. They put on some different tires and performed an alignment, and I've never had the car handle this well. I was ecstatic. And they not only fixed my problem, but even with a blank check, they didn't overcharge me--the alignment and the tires were it. I still can hardly believe it. I first started using Engines Express to service my wife's car, because they undercut the dealership by a huge margin, and proved that they could do good work. The people there are very friendly, and willing to work with you. They will never do any work without calling first to give you an estimate, and explain what they intend to do. Once they get down to it, they are fast, and always fair with the pricing. I am extremely pleased with Engine Express. I hardly let anyone work on my Mustang, and the took good care of it.
