STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They are crooks... Any company that needs a full time position called Manager, Dispute Resolution, has an issue. My mechanic is replacing my engine. He calls and finds an engine at EngineWorld. I call and pay for it and they deliver it the next day. Wrong engine for the car. They pick it up a week later and deliver another engine. Wrong engine again! They pick it up a week later and deliver another engine that has no compression in two cylinders. They blame my mechanic and say they are sending out a person to look at it. They never sent anyone. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company after a month of dealing with their garbage. Now, they tell me it is my mechanics fault (probably dropped a bolt in the engine), plus I did not pay taxes so I am trying to scam them athoughTHEY made the receipt out to my mechanic instead of me, and I am the one that purchased the engine. They are threatening to report me to State Board of Equalization, when they are the ones that gave me the price and took my money which I thought was an out the door price. Six weeks later, no engine, and nothing but a major problem. Never, Never deal with them unless you want scammed... more

Their quality is poor. They don't get engines from Japan at all. more

I have used engineworld's product for the last two years totaling 18 engines and transmissions . I have hade no isue that the company hasen't taken care of me in the profecional way i expect. Every engine comes extreamly clean wich i love. There is nothing worse than installing and engine that is dirtier than the one coming out of the car, well this has never occored since i found engineworld. Pros: Clean engines, very helpful more

extreamly bad customer service at this place. i bought 2 engines and 1 transmission from these guys. frist engine so far i have had no problems. the second engine i got was a rebuilt engine installed the engine started up and the rear main seal was leaking. installed the transmission and drove the transmission was in the same condition as the one i replaced. waited over the weekend to beable to talk with someone at the company and spoke to rico. i asked rico to about the problems that i was havig and he did not seam interested at all. i asked to speak with a manager which he would not get on the phone he transfered me to other sales people but not the manager. i told him that i had bought 2 engines and 1 transmission and that i was having problems with 2 out of the three. he told me it does not matter how much i had bought their are other people who spend more money than me. after several min trying to get a manager on the phone and he would not listen i hung up the phone. if you are a shop and looking for a engine or transmission i recommend you look somewhere else. bad engines and transmissions and worse customer service.
