I called to find out what theythought it would cost to repair my Explorer with over 160,000 miles on it. He ballparked me at anywhere between 1500 and 2100 depending on the type of transmission. I waited a few weeks to try and gather the needed funds. I was sure the transmission needed replacment because another mechanic told me I needed it. I chose not to have him do it because it wasn't his specialty. more

I THOUGHT THEY JUST DID MAJOR WORK LIKE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENTS, BUT THEY DO JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING. Cons: NOT ALWAYS EASY TO GET A PARKING SPOT more

GREAT GUYS AND A "FREE LOANER CAR" IN WAUKESHA 11/30/2007

I called after hours on Saturday night not expecting anyone to answer the phone. I was surprised when Vince answered to help me with my car problems.. The car wouldn't move. Vince set up a tow to his shop then went there to open up and gave me a loaner car so I could get to work on Monday. They gave me 2 options to fix my car and I went with a lower priced used/tested transmission with a good waranty. It was done Tuesday as promised. They even washed my dirty car. They do all types of repairs. I will recommend to anyone. AAA+++ more

Auto Repair 10/4/2007

We had to have transmission work done and were very pleased with E&T. They were able to explain what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and stick to that estimate. more
