My husband took a cat he found abandoned in an apt he rented to this Vet, they treated the cat for FREE! All he needed was a CAPSTAR pill but still they coulda charged the office fee & 20 bucks for the pill too. \r Tommy our HIV+ boy was taken there about 6 months ago & he was FANTASTIC! \r Sadly, Vets cost MONEY & many, many, many Bridgeport are NOT rich or can barely afford it if the animal needs extended care. more

Dr. Kristy has been our "family" vet for over 20 years. He has helped us welcome our new pups, care for them when they were hurt or sick, and helped us cope when the time came to let them go. I am always reading in the local paper how he donates his time to local animal shelters giving care, vaccinations, spay/neutering all at no cost. He is amazing, and I don't know what we'd do without him. more

I took my elderly dog to Dr. Kristy last week after being unsatisfied with my present vet. I found Dr. Kristy to be extremely clear, communicative, kind, and focused. His staff was also wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Kristy in a heartbeat. more

Dr. Kristy has been my dogs Vet for 4yrs. He and his staff are for your animal . They care about her.They are ever there if you have questions or concerns about your pet's health. My dog loves everyone there. I would recommend Englebert-Kristy because he is the hands down best! more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I think I get good care for my pets here, that is not a problem. The staff is excellent and very caring. However, sometimes I think they rip people off. Example....a few years ago one of my cats had a stroke. I rushed her over to the vets and was told it was time to put her down. He was very sensitive and caring...but the bill was unbelievable. Around $300 for the shot and cremation. However when one of my dogs was recently put down the bill was only a little over $100. It makes no sense to me. It seems it should have been the other way around since my dog was so much bigger. So I really have mixed feelings. I think they do a good job as far as care goes, but I wonder where the prices come from sometimes. PROS: Great care, caring staff. CONS: Pricing policies. more
