Energy Attic is very good! I kept a reading on the usage for 3 years and I could see it going down every month. They are very courteous. They came out, did the job, and left. Energy Attic is very worthwhile because my energy usage went down. I'm still saving money. more

These guys were absolutely top notch. The completed a professional (and quite impressive) installation of foil radiant barrier in my attic. And my attic was a mess! I'm an IT guy, so there are wires EVERYWHERE, and a few places, like behind the AC/heat exchanger, are extremely difficult to get to. But man, these guys showed up on time and just powered through the install. They also installed vents on the outside of the house, and used these cool channels to make sure that air gets directed into the space between the foil barrier and the roof (instead of getting covered with insulation, which is what most insulation / radiant barrier companies do). more

The entire process, from the initial estimate to job completion far exceeded my expectations. They were fast, done on time and took good care of not damaging anything. And I must say I was nervous about all the exposed wiring I have going on in my attic and yet no problem at all. And they reminded me of my IRS energy credit! more

I had the full attic package installed with radiant barrier, solar fans, additional insulation, and new vents winter before last. That previous summer I saw my "averaged" electric bill triple at the end of the year. This past year not only did the increased electricity average drop by over a third, but I had zero propane heat bill and zero electricity bill for Feb & March due to the surplus from the savings. We had the radiant barrier put in almost 6 years ago. There was nice 35% reduction in the A/C electric usage (I have been tracking kwh for years now and calculated two years pre versus two years post installation). But I know the old A/C units were inefficient. We just had new A/C systems installed last spring and the effect of the radiant barrier is amazing. I can't wait to see longer term results but a calculation of the savings from just this past year is over 20! I love it! more

But man, these guys showed up on time and just powered through the install. My house has >40 devices connected to the internet, 4 wifi routers, and >10 POE security cameras. With all of that, these guys didn't clip a single wire or staple through a single cable. That's impressive! More than anything, their foreman (Guy), was just an outstanding communicator. He always fully explained every step to me, answered all my questions, and addressed every one of my concerns. I've used Angie's List a lot to get good contractors to work at my home. And I'm generally a very tough customer, because I stick my nose in everyone's work, ask lots of questions, and triple check everything before, during, and after the job is done. Usually, a contractor is just sick of me by the time they're done. But not these guys! They had a great attitude, did an outstanding job, and deserve every bit of new business they get via these reviews or via word of mouth. Their pricing was excellent as well. I highly recommend! Oh, and my attic never goes above 100 degrees now, and I've seen a HUGE difference in being able to keep the house cool. We used to fight a losing battle to the heat every hot summber afternoon, eventually hitting >80 degrees. Now, we can keep the house at 75 even when it's > 100 degrees outside. more

The Energy Attic workmanship has proven itself year after year. My last two utility bills were well under $100, and only once since the installation has my monthly electric bill (all electric, 2500 sq ft home) reached $140. The house is warmer all winter, and cooler all summer with the radiant barrier securely positioned in my attic. My advice to you is simple: have Energy Attic treat your attic to their outstanding service/installation and your budget will thank you. Mine sure did: my summer bills were typically in the $350 to $450 range before Energy Attic upgraded my home. more
