Great place. I love it in here. The first time I was here it was like duh on the doorstep but then i experience their service and when i entered inside, it was like wooow! amazing.

Great, but. 9/1/2009

the hotel was great, the rooms are excellent, but why are the hotel guest so afraid to have fun or show any emotion. It's like everybody is waiting for a funeral. The casino was empty. these new hotels are like shopping malls with rooms on top. more

Wynn does it again 6/9/2009

I have always been a fan of Steve Wynn and his work and Encore did not fail to impress. It creates an amazing boutique hotel feel for being a large resort. It is similar to Wynn, but even more secluded and boutique in feel. The service is amazing and the food is as well. Sinatra was the best Italian food I have ever had, and the patio setting is gorgeous. I think the best thing about the rooms (as they are very similar to Wynn) is you actually can have a view of the strip and the Wynn hotel from your window. Pros: Elegance, food, service, etc. more

If Possible, Superior To Wynn 3/24/2009

I recently stayed in a Tower Suite on the 60th floor at Encore. The suite has well appointed with a spectular south facing view. Guest services were very good across the board.Since I had reservations at Alex and Tableau, I missed a chance to eat at Botero or Sinatra. Truly an excellent hotel and a good value. more

Second Only t Second Only To Four Seasons 3/5/2009

Wynn Las Vegas is excellent from top to bottom. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The property is very easy to navigate, and guest services are excellent as well. Wynn has a dazzling array of restaurants, although some may find too few affordable dining options.I'm making my second visit in three months in February more

As fake as the people impressed by it... 2/12/2009

Creating a lot of hype telling everyone how luxurious and great something is, doesn't\r make it so. Being expensive doesn't mean its class, nor in good taste. The place \r simply tries too hard and thus ends up being gaudy. It tends to attract the wannabe \r posers who actually think that luxury and class = $$$$. What some fail to comprehend\r is that social and economic class are 2 very different things, a pimp in a \r gaudy suit and big car may be rich and project wealth, but definitely not class. Cons: The couldn't afford the rooms and restaurants yet act as if they own the place, the crowd is very obnoxious, the hotel tries too hard more

Spend your money else where 2/1/2009

I was looking forward to getting blown away. I was disappointed, Its like when the #1 basketball team in the country comes to play in your home town and proceeds to get blown out. OVER RATED!! OVER RATED!! Dont get me wrong, the place is nice but its that cheesy kind of nice. Like when you pass a worker in the hall they always say ""How do you do?"" . Not, ""Hello"", or ""How are you?""; but ""How do you do?"". Who says that? Honestly? They probably have a training manual of things to say or not say. also, the room that I payed $549 a night for was simply average. The beds that they raved about were uncomfotable, the view looking out the window was of several construction sites, and they charged $10 for a 12 ounce bottle of water. Thats ridiculous. However, I did enjoy the night club XS. I only had to pay $500 for a bottle of Grey Goose vodka to get in. Oh wait, I almost forgot, there was a 4 bottle minimum that night. more

Never a disappointment 1/23/2009

I've been to the CC Grill many times. I highly recommend it for a client luncheon--can't tell you how much business that lunch brought in! I also recommend it for cocktails in the bar. It's refined, intimate, and comfortable. I also recommend for it for a weekend lunch. You will avoid the crowds and enjoy a quiet, relaxing, well-served meal without pretense. The view is always enjoyable, and an usually green one for Las Vegas, certainly on the Strip. It is truly like dining at an exclusive Country Club where you are a well-known and welcomed member. more

Hmm, how bad can things get at this hotel? Let me count the ways: 1/20/2009

Hmm, how bad can things get at this hotel? Let me count the ways:\r \r 1) We were invited as casino guests, 3 nights, Fri-Mon this past weekend. My husband is like Super Elite at Silver Legacy, which is how I think they got our name. \r \r Nevertheless, we were dumped at the bottom category room, which if you've been around in this life, you'd totally know that the Wynn's decor is the ""trying hard"" to look as if it's a Philippe Starck, but has IKEA artwork on the walls instead. Completely disgusting! Who cares if our room had their front and center view of the strip, blah, blah, it SUCKED nevertheless!!!!!\r \r 2) Same weekend, we also hosted a party for our closest relatives to celebrate our 90 year old aunt's birthday at one of their Fairway Villas. The one that costs over $3K a night and about 2500 sq ft. Except for being their super high roller, like spend $5K at the roll of every roulette wheel, these rooms were their very second best.\r \r It was big, blah, blah. Decor was a bit better, but still transparently ""fake"", not even tastefully fake, mind you. And the catered food was ok.\r \r All in all, quite uneventful. We all had a lot of fun at the party, mind you, but that's not due to the hotel. That was just good company.\r \r I can write more, but I'm just so bored with this place. \r \r Don't bother going! If you want a hotel at the strip, The Venetian has larger, better rooms all around. more

Easily one of the, if not the best restaurant I have dined at in Las Vegas thus far. Be sure to ask for Anthony; if the food was not reason enough to visit, his service takes the experience to another level. Pros: Fantastic food, wine list, and service more

Coolest hotel in Vegas so far! 4/30/2008

Wynn is just a terrific hotel! It has everything just right - the interior, service, shops, restaurants and even La Reve' show is great. It is cool and bright, modern with a hint of a conservatism - just perfect. The old and smelly carpets so characteristic for Vegas hotels in general substituted by a tasteful mosaics. Abundance of beautiful flower arrangements...First time I have stayed at Wynn in the summer of 2005, it was perfect. Three years later it is even better than before. In addition, there is a bridge to Palazzo that connects you with Venetian and the rest of the strip. The only disappointment was when I have learned that one of my favorite pastry shops at Wynn that had real Chocolate Fontaine was closed. Oh well, I am sure Wynn will come up with something to make up for it. Pros: Pretty much all Cons: Pastry Shop wth Chocolate Fontaine is no longer there more
