I didn't like Chinese food before this place; now I can't get enough. I could eat here every day. General Tao's chicken is my favorite, along with Sesame Chicken. Together, with rice, I am in heaven. Another rating said the service was slow, but you can order it to go and they have it ready for you in 10 minutes! I love this place. My absolute favorite restaurant. more

My wife and I feel that this is the best chinese food to be found in Denver and boy have we looked! The war won ton soup is a complete meal in itself for $3.75. Loaded with chicken, shrimp and vegetables and the broth is to die for. All crusts are obviously made fresh whether the egg roll or the sweet and sour shrimp. Speaking of sweet and sour -- best sauce in Colorado. Just the right tang. Any entree can be ordered with the Empress add-on which includes a complete pu pu platter, soup and egg roll for only $3.75 extra. Each dish has it's own flavor and unlike some chiness restaurants wherin all light sauces taste the same. Word of warning: The cook (the owner) can be cranky but boy can he cook.
