I agree with you. I'm so glad this dealership is closed down (even though I'm still bearing the load of their risky behavior).\r
I purchased a new, 2006 Suzuki Forenza from them and the car ran bad beginning the first month I got it. During the first month, the transmission kept skipping and sometimes it wouldn't start. I kept trying to take it back but they gave me the run around until it was too late. Then I called for a couple of months for my paperwork/contract because they told me that they had to send it to me in the mail but they kept giving me the run around. But I was foolish to sign it at the dealership while parts were still blank. So when I got it in the mail, figures were changed and the length of the financing was changed from four years to 6. I'm pretty much paying three times for the car right now.\r
It's been four years now and I've had every major thing wrong with the car that I had to pay out of MY pocket because there was always some excuse or run-around. I must've visited the service department over 15 times in the first two years and all they doing was telling me that they couldn't see of feel anything wrong when they drove it and made up an excuse for why they couldn't give me any kind of receipt or statement as proof that I had come there for that problem--every time, so it never went on record. Everytime something broke, they'd tell me that it was either not under my warrantee or that I had too much mileage to qualify for their recall. I've had radiator fluid spew into my car, the engin's heads to lock up, door handles to break off, windshields that won't stop smearing, headlights that burn out every time you turn around, seatbelts to stick or not expand, ect. and no one would take responsibility for it (not even at the corporate level). And to top it off, the salesman would call me every month asking me out on dates and eventually called me and told me that he was going to prision and asked if I knew of any legal help he could get. The business finally closed down, but I'm left with a lemon and a lot of mess. I'm still paying on the car and it's in the shop with 3,200.00 of work needing to be done to it in the engine area. Yes, a 4-5 year old car that was bought brand new.\r
I don't mind learning things the hard way but this is ridiculous. I take some of the responsibility for it 'cause I didn't take my time and look around. I was recently divorced, didn't have a lot of money to put down on it, and they had a deal for me. Lord, did they have a deal. A deal with the devil.\r
I'm writing to wake someone up about the suzuki brand as well as financing cars and I hope this works.\r
