$40 for access to such equipment is absolutely awesome. And classes are offered in the evenings, weekend and lunch time for those who like a group thing. Locker room area (for guys) is pretty clean, but the bathroom stalls are gross and really need to be replaced. Showers look fine, but I don't really use them. They have a racquetball court, fitness studio (with sparingly offered yoga) and boxing classes, so variety is great here.\r more

I pay $40/month for the premium membership to use the gym's specialty fitness room with bumper weights, pull up bars, medi balls, KB's, etc. Other gym's charge $200+/month dollars (?!!!) for access to such things and you can only use it on their schedule. I won't mention the fitness method by name because ""HQ"" has been on a stupid power trip lately and wants to cut the balls off of anyone who uses their ""trademarked"" terms\r more

I recently signed up for this gym and I love it! The location is perfect, there is a great variety of equipment, the gym itself is super clean and the staff is extremely friendly! I would recommend this gym to anyone! I am so glad I changed from my old gym to Empire Sports Club!\r more

Ryan, the new head guy, is honest, dependable, and really listens to what we want as members. The reviews below may have been true in the past but the new Empire Sports Club is the best!\r more

The owner Ryan is a great guy who seems to take pride in his business. I think he's a relatively new owner, so I give him props for offering a gym with a variety of options and hope he can make a few updates/improvements soon. Gym is just .25 miles from the Mall in the heart of the Boston Metro Technology Corridor, so no shortage of clients to draw from.\r more
