I became a fan of Empire Aquatics about 6 years ago, my little sister and I went their to start our first 10g fish tanks and fell in love. The fish selection is wonderful for any salt, tropical or fresh tanks. They have giant fish in an indoor pond, like the other posters said you can feed them..and they are HUGE! Unbelievable, I recommend this store to anyone who takes pride in their fish, beats any of the commonly known competitors by a long shot!! Pros: Great selection/staff, indoor and outdoor fish ponds! Cons: None, take the family for a little drive! more

A Fishy Wonderland 3/29/2008

Looks may be deceiving! This place is a fish paradise for the fish lover. The owner and his daughter are extremely knowledgeable of fish and what they need to be healthy and happy. They have a wide selection of accessories and tanks and well as a HUGE selection of fresh, tropical and salt water fish. They even have a indoor pond with several very large koi and to our surprise 2 gigantic ""algae eaters"" that you can feed! A really great place. We are very pleased to have found it. Much, much better than the strip mall pet store. They really care about the fish at this fish haven! I highly recommend this establishment! Empire Aquatics Rules!!1 3/14/2008

My kids really got into the fish idea after seeing and feeding the pond fish here!! They completly forgot to be upset we had said no puppy! Each child picked out a fish from the MANY there were to choose from. Unlike a traditional pet store with a section for fish (next to the fuzzy friends) this place is an exciting wall to wall fish friend place!! It was also caught at the register I was buying the wrong food!! We will definitly be going back. Totally worth the trip!!! Pros: interactive, fun, no fuzzy pets Cons: slight drive to get there (but worth it!!) more
