This is my second time eating at this restaurant. The service was good, although when my brother ordered a Corona, the waiter had to leave the restaurant to buy the beer at the corner market. The food is excellent. We ordered the Navartan Korma which gave you the feeling of comfort all over. The vegetables, I think were from a can or previously frozen, mixed in a warm cream sauce with a delicate trace of garlic and spices which blended so well together. It was heavenly! The butter chicken was also great. Chicken pieces were in a orange colored mild and creamy butter sauce with the perfect spices and chili that made it very tasty and smooth to the palate. I was too full to eat the Emperors Sampler of grilled meats and vegetables. I never had basmati rice and was a little hesitant because there were black flecks and small pods in the rice, but after one spoonful, I was glad I tried it. The food was served in small copper bowls and at first, I did not think that this would be enough food. I was wrong, after our meal, we asked for containers to take our food home because we could not finish everything. Overall, the food made you feel good and happy that the money spent was worth it. The food did take time to get out to our table but, we knew that they were making it fresh and not stored somewhere only to be microwaved. I would definitely go back again and again.
Pros: Food is delicious!
Cons: Dirty couches at the entrance lobby.
