First of all, the place was remarkably easy to find, near some train stations which was nice- easily accessible. As soon as I approached the place, I was greeted by a remarkably friendly hostess outside and then by another person who then took me and my friend to a nice table in the back. Because we wanted to mainly talk and catch up on old times, the restaurant was good for that, providing us with a good and comfortable place in the back and a suctioned noise level at that. We were then greeted by a friendly and helpful waiter who checked up on us numerous times, and then later on by what looked like the manager. In a part of Manhattan surrounded by tourists and tourist hot spots and expensive hotels, we were both surprised that the place wasn't more packed. Lucky for us, it was nice to get some good, prompt, friendly service, a comfortable, quiet corner to call our own for a few hours, and not to mention, some decent elbow room in a classy-looking, elegant place. In addition, the prices are not that bad either, even though the menus don't offer too much food, but the sandwiches that we had there were pretty tasty. If you want some leg room, great food at reasonable prices, a great atmosphere that includes a bar, friendly staff, small crowds and a great easily assessible location, then you should try the Harmony Bar & Grill. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Ambience, friendly service and staff, small crowd, great atmosphere
