The experience that is Emmanuel Salon begins with the phone call to book your first appointment. The front desk staff is great, and I always get a phone call confirmation the day before my appointment. Not only does the front desk staff shine over the phone, but when you arrive, you are greeted with smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. I have been coming to Emmanuel Salon since it opened and when JASON was just finishing up school. As someone living in the Med Center in Houston, I never wanted to venture out of the inner loop, but I couldn't be happier that I did!! I am more than a perfectionist and JASON gets it. From color to cut to style, JASON does it all. And he does it with ease. He's by far the most talented hair stylist I have EVER had. He has continuously helped me to maintain the perfect bob haircut that gets me compliments on a daily basis. Not only has he maintained my haircut that turns heads, but he has been patient and honest when I attempted to use box hair color. "" DON'T DO IT"" were his words to me after the 3 month process of getting my color back to normal. more

The staff at Emmanuel Salon are all amazing and every time I visit clients leave with amazing hair and satisfied smiles. It's a beautiful salon filled with talented people... But the name you need to remember when you call to make your first appointment is JASON! Jason is an artist, perfectionist, mad scientist, and all around Super Star! If you want to follow the latest hair trends he's a step ahead, and has you completely covered with the ability to consistently produce amazing color and perfect cuts. And if you want to be responsible for SETTING the latest hair trends then he's ready! He's full of amazing ideas and eager to customize and create. I'm grateful to a close friend for sharing Jason's name, for the staff at Emmanuel for maintaining such a wonderful salon, and especially Jason for some seriously Fly Hair!! more

After years of trying different salons and different stylists with not so great experiences, I have been very nervous to try out another new salon and another new stylist. more

You will LOVE Mallory! She is the first stylist I've gone to where I leave happy every single time. She is talented and creative. She listens to what you want, but is also honest about whether the cut you want will work for you or not. I love that! My husband, myself, and our 4 kids all love her--she is very versatile. Beyond hair, Mallory is an awesome person. You will enjoy your time with her :) more

Emmanuel Salon is the best place to get your hair done its so hip and modern, very nice atmosphere, everyone is so professional and supper nice. My stylist is Glo. She is the most fantastic hair stylist in the world. I dont let no one ever touch my hair besides her. I get so many compliments on my hair and thats cause im a guy and i have short hair, but she most definitely knows how to work her magic on me. I recommend every man to see her. All she has to do is take one look at you and then she has a vision and then she cuts and then i promise you will be satisfied at the end. The also have a hair spray that is the most powerful styling hair spray ever!!! i love it. its the best. Thats the only thing that i use to make my hair look good. i do recommend everyone to go Emmanuel Salon. more

If you don't want to read it all, my stylist recommendation is Jason!!!! I have always loved fun hair. And my hair is a bit unconventional for Texas being almost as short as most men. But the cursed hair gods gave me fine thin hair and greasy scalp. Not cool. That and I""m from Seattle. Which compared to Texas has a very different sense of style. All of this added up to making it very difficult for me to find someone who knew how to do hair! My hair! It's not difficult (in my opinion), but it certainly not a very often requested style around her. I spike the back, longer in the front, wispy sideburns, and play with browns and blondes as far as color. Think pixie. But apparently pixie is hard. Or pixie and color, without making me look like I have stripes on my head, is hard. I have been to 5 different hair salons in the past five years. And I get my hair done about every 5-7 weeks. They have all given it a great shot, but if I came upon someone who had great color or an interesting cut, I would always seek out their hairstylist. And then August 2007 I meet Jason. Jason had cool hair. And it turned out Jason DID HAIR! So I went to see him at Emmanuel Salon. Very hip little place. And it's now over a year later and I still go to Jason. We have great conversation, he gives me great color, and he perfects the cut. No more stripey hair and no more awkward cuts. Beyond that, they give amazing head massages during the shampoo phase. And everyone else there is super cute and trendy. My husband saw another stylist as Jason was unavailable and she did a great job with him, too. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she is next to Jason. Go there. It's worth it. It's not as cheap as your average Great Clips, Fantastic Sam's, Sport Clips, etc, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. more

So I had an appointment originally at tony and guy, where I usually go. My original stylist called in. It was also my only day off. I was in dire need of my highlights touched up. I also wanted to add some more highlights and low lights. So I started searching on net for salons. I came across Emmanuel salon. I decided to give them a try. Being that I am always hesitate about trying someone new coloring my hair- I am happy I ventured out! I was placed with Ashlee. : ) Boy am I happy I did! She did a fantastic job!! She touched up my highlights, adding more and putting these awesome lowlights in. I am such a picky person when it comes to highlights. I am always afraid that I will get those ugly brassy toned colors. Well... They turned out so pretty!!!! I am getting so many compliments on my hair! I also got a cut, She cut my hair to match my face frame to perfection. She is very professional and makes you feel right at home. The salon it's self is really nice. I live all the way in Katy, but I will be coming out here to see Ashlee for all my hair needs. If you want amazing highlights and a perfect cut come see this very artsy gal Ashlee! more

When I called Visible Changes to schedule an appointment for my fiance with Mallory a few mmonths ago they told me she was no longer with them and I freaked out. Although his hair style is not complex she is the only person to ever get it just the way he likes it. I hung up with them and after a 30minute google search I found where she had gone. Once we went for his appointment it was obvious why she had moved, Emmanuel Salon is much more of a home for her than VC, she is respected as an artist and everyone there is really nice. After his haircut I realized it's also cheaper than VC and offers a delicious cup of tea. He left happier than ever and I'm sure Mallory's creativity will take off now that she is in a place where she's happy. Go see Mallory! Pros: tea, professional job, great style Cons: 0 more

ok first of all, I'd just like to say that I have been getting my haircut by Malory since she worked at visible changes. The reason I chose Malory is for several reasons. Number one, I have some of the most frustrating hair in the world for a hair stylist. It's not curly, not straight its waivy and on top of that I have a calic every other inch on my head. Needless to say Malory easily navigated through the calics and waviness on way to a perfectly executed mohawk. The second reason I chose Malory is that she is such a fun and energetic person that her personality is completly contagious. Now I am a pretty special person and require a pretty special stylist to cut all of the extravagent designs that I desire, and i could go on and on how she not only does a great job, but improves the hairstyle each and every time I go back to see her, but it would only begin to scratch the service of why I love going to get my hair cut by her each and every time. Emmanuel salon is a great salon for her to express her personality, people are friendly, free drinks (yes they actually have a full service capuccino machine!), and it still has that small salon feel so its not overwhelming. Just a wonderful place with wonderful people, and Malory is by far the greatest! 5 stars!!! Both thumbs up! go get your hair cut! FYI, I recomend people all the time and have yet to have someone not go back for multiple haircuts! Pros: best haircut for the price Cons: absolutely none more

I went to Emmanuel Salon for the first time & was completely blown away! Everyone there is SUPER nice & they can actually do hair too! My stylist, Stevie, was awesome... I LOVE my hair! I won't go anywhere else from now on! Pros: Great Service!!! more
