Don't know what happened tothis restaurant. Used to be one of my favorites. Had a truly bad experience last night. Very indifferent service and the food was several notches down from other visits. They forgot our rice, silverware and generally acted like we were bothering them more

I go for lunch often. The duck is amazing, the fish is so good and the mangrod chicken breast is to die for- yum! All around $10 including the salad bar. more

BEST THAI IN SOUTH FLORIDA 11/15/2006

I've been eating Thai food for 22 years. The best Thai anywhere in South Florida is Emerald on State Road 84. The Sanibel Chicken is fabulous. A great value at lunch with a soup, appetizer and salad bar with entree. I've been eating there for 15 years. The food is consistently good. We've tried most of what is on their menu but we love the Sanibel Chicken the best. The chili sauce with basil is to die for. Great service and take-out. When I order on line I get a 10% discount. I highly recommend for authentic thai taste. Pros: Authentically Thai more
