Hot Bar Girls and food too 11/12/2008

The Emerald Tavern is a nice neighborhood hangout. Visitors are treated very well. My husband and I like the Emerald very much and we live 15 miles away. Wednesday is Karaoke night and some are good and some are awful you decide. The shrimp salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll is wonderful. The girls behind the bar are Hot (Cute) and friendly. Visit the Emerald on live music Saturday. You?ll go back. Pros: Nice TV's and nice view too Cons: Some sing off key and no tempo more

A GREAT place to hang out! 5/30/2007

I thiink the Emerald Tavern is a nice relaxing place to hang out with friends. Everyone in there seems to know everyone and everyone is friendly. The bartenders and staff are GREAT!! The food is good and hot all the time! Pros: service and atmosphere more

Nasty customer service!!!!!! 5/21/2007

The only good thing I can say about this place is the food. Other that that the service is horrible. Bartenders ignore you and are very rude! I was actually insulted by one because I did not put his tip on the bar fast enough. Dont waste your money at this place! Cons: staff is not friendly at all! more

Barred suspected gay clients, actually straight, to protect homophob red neck clients. Owner stated that rent is paid with those red neck clients and prefer them to more diverse customers. Whether staight, Bi, or Gay, you can find a more appreciative owner and location to spend your money Pros: QUALITY BARTENDERS Cons: OWNERSHP PREFERS WASP CLIENTS AND WILL BAR ANY CUSTOMER THAT DIFFERS FROM THE HOMOPHOB PREDUDICE BASE more
