Emerald Coast Barber Shop

I have been a client of Emerald Coast Beauty & Barber shop for almost 6 years. Tina (the owner) only hires the best, and most professional stylists and technicians in the industry. While other salons have come & gone throughout The Emerald Coast over the years, Emerald Coast 'Barber' [& Beauty] has been a staple in Fountain Plaza for over 15 years. Just sayin, but they must be doing something right! I was thrilled with my up-do on my wedding day and send my brides & bridesmaids to Tina's girls all the time (and have NEVER heard a complaint, only praises on how comfortable, professional, and easy-going the stylists were with each person I have sent there.) as a professional photographer I pride myself on a strong roledex of professional and compedent vendors. I would not send any of my clients to Emerald Coast Beauty & Barber if I wasnt 100% comfortable with every person working there. By the way, Tina is an incredible massage therapist, my only regret is not having enough time to go in more often. Please don't let one person's vile review sway your opinion of this establishment. If this was 'really' such a disgruntled customer, I must ask why these concerns were not addressed at the time of service - knowing Tina both professionally & personally she would have corrected the concern immediately. The only conclusion I (and several other clients of Emerald Coast Beauty & Barber) can come to is fear & jealousy of a competitor or unemployed stylist who may have worked for this establishment is incredibly sad and obviously has far too much time on their hands, that they fill their time by writing bogus reviews on the Internet. =o) more

I have been having my hair cut at Emerald Coast Barber Shop for over fifteen years. They are simply the best! I've NEVER been disappointed in either the service or quality from Tina the owner, or anyone on her staff. Tina is also an excellent massage therapist. I received a massage gift certificate that I used on my birthday and I received an excellent deep tissue massage from Tina - would highly recommend trying her massage service because you will be back often as I am! more

I took my 2 boys in for haircut and the ""stylist"" who was working didn't know what she was doing. After each of them were done I pointed out several problems and instead of fixing them, they just got worse. My younger boy had several spots on his head were the hair is missing from her nicking his head with the clippers. These were NOT difficult cuts and should have been routine for a place that is advertised as a BARBER SHOP. I paid $30 and now they look like I cut their hair myself with my eyes closed!\r \r Pros: Lots of magazines on the table Cons: Lighting, incompetent stylist, large amounts of seemingly unrelated things for sale (earrings, greeting cards, etc..) more
