I have been extremely satisfied with the Emerald City Model and Talent Agency. I am an actor in Seattle and was with the Kim Brooke Group before these guys for two years and never got any acting jobs and feel their service is horrible. I joined Emerald City Model and Talent and in my first two weeks I booked a regional commercial for Snoqualmie Casino and landed an extra role in a feature documentary film called ""The Glamour and The Squalor"". I couldn't be happier with Emerald City Model and Talent!! -Brandon more

I found Emerald City Talent on the internet & went in for an interview; I liked what I saw, there were many opportunities with their current jobs & auditions. I like the fact that they weren't selling classes, expensive portfolios, or charged a website fees like a lot of the other agencies that I went into & interviewed with before. So I decided to go forward with them.\r \r Within two weeks of being with the company I was in the Snoqualmie Casino commercial, it was a very long shoot; I met some great people, great contacts & was able to network for other jobs. They provided food during the shoot & it was excellent. I know that the commercial runs often so hopefully from doing this shoot I will get exposure. \r \r Thanks Emerald City Model & Talent!!\r more

I am a freelance local casting director assistant. I work on all types of productions including TV commercials, corporate videos and print work. We have used ECMT talent for over 10 years and have been very happy with the diverse talent. Their people are reliable, on time and easy to work with. We will continue to use ECMT talent in the future. more

Works for this working girl :D (cheesy I know ;) ) 2/23/2011

I've been with ECMT for a while and they've gotten me out on several auditions. In fact, I just got booked for a WA State Lottery print shoot and it was so much fun!! The crew was so fun to work with and it paid well :D I just found out from EMCT that I was submitted for a TV commercial too!! YEAH!!! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed (and I hope you are too!!) because this would definitely look great on my resume :) more

They are sooo worth it! 2/14/2011

I have been acting and modeling for 9 years and I have worked with several agencies. I am now with Emerald City Model and Talent and what I like about them is their honesty. They are not a school and do not have hidden fees like expensive classes, online fees, monthly fees, or yearly fees. The other agencies I have been with are schools-agencies that I have spent a total of over $3000 on!!! With ECMT I haven't paid nearly as much. They take a commission so they get paid WHEN I GET PAID! When they get me a job they give me a tearsheet or a copy of the TV spot and that's how I update my portfolio. I am so happy with the jobs and auditions I've received from them and with the on-the-job-training they've provided me with. I definitely plan on sticking with them. Another good thing is they don't make me sign a contract. AND THEY ONLY GET PAID WHEN THEY LAND ME JOBS!!! They're great and I'm really glad I found them ^_^ more

Great references lead me to a GREAT agency!! 1/23/2011

I just went into Emerald City Model and Talent for my interview this week and signed up with the agency. I have been freelancing my jobs, which I plan to continue to do, but it?s nice to have someone else looking for you as well. What is great about this agency is that there are no agency fees. So I don?t have to pay them to look for jobs for me. They just take a small portion, 10-20 percent, when you get a job. The only start up cost I had to do was a simple headshot that they can send to producers. They don?t require you to have anything more even though they have the option of getting a portfolio. The price of their pictures are lower than most studios, so it?s a great agency for people just starting. I am excited to have people help my search for modeling and acting jobs!! more

Search for this company on citysearch under Seattle, WA. There are more reviews there to get a better idea. I also think its shady that footballderek and cheerinrose bellow posted on BOTH addresses and have only wrote about Emerald City and nothing else. Shady? Possibly. more

Not Professional 11/16/2010

.I have answered several casting calls posted with anonymous email replies. Each time I got invited to sign up with these guys. When I inquired about the casting details, I was told that I had to sign a contract before I could future work. If they were professional, they would state that they were an agency and were not actually casting for parts. They refuse to List their name and telephone in postings or ads because they know that no one will respond to them. I have seen the professional portfolio pictures they charge you for. They walk you out to a shrub in front of their office and take a couple of snapshots. No makeup, No original background??just the same old shrub. more

BEWARE!!! 9/17/2010

This business is operating under a business license closed 12/31/2008. You will find many blogs saying outstanding service which you can tell have been pre-written by either family/friends and/or paid blog writters. They will take your money and you will never hear from them again. $400-800 for a 10 minute make shift photo shoot. You enter their office in Edmonds and receive high pressure sales tactics with multiple people coming into the office to con you into thinking its all real by showing you outdated pictures and commercial ad's. more

Impressed with this agency!! 7/1/2010

I am very impressed with the way Emerald City Model and Talent runs their business. I was not lied to, scammed, or hussled out of thousands of dollars to get a start in the modeling and acting industry. They were upfront with me about my possiblities of getting work and did not fill my head with lies about how I'm the best looking guy at the agency. I liked how they were ver informative about the industry and explained that it might be a rough start, but if you stick with it and build good relationships with the jobs you do get then more will come your way. Just like any job you have to put in an effort to succeed and they gave me the opportunity and skills I needed to do just that. Pros: Straight forward and honest Cons: have done nothing wrong to me so NONE more

Honest & Trustworthy Agency! 6/24/2010

I just started with Emerald City Model and Talent a few weeks ago and have been sent out on a few jobs. I have an upcoming audition for a commercial and I can't believe this is reality. I never imagined that ECM&T would make my dreams come true considering there are so many scammers in the industry. I went in for an interview, learned about the opportunities available, and decided this agency for perfect for launching my career. I am so happy I found ECM&T and can't wait for all the other exciting auditions and jobs in the following year. I have been with Emerald City Model And Talent Agency for a few mouths and I have got many jobs with them. Getting with them was the best thing that happened for me. I worked for micro soft, coke a cola, and many others ad's. The people are very worm and caring. I have gone to see many other agency and the asked me for lot's of money that most people just don't have. Emerald City calls me now with more work that I can ever ask for. Now I have to find out how too do them all. Now I can get that 300 that I all ways wanted for so long. Pros: Talent. Cons: not going to the gym more. more

I'm so glad I found Emerald City Model and Talent 11/20/2009

I went around believing that I could only do gigs and freelancing because I am too short for the agencies. I was completely wrong. Emerald City Model and Talent take people of all heights...and sizes...everything. It's fantastic. New faces, new looks, everyday. It's such a family working environment....I don't know what to say. I know! I'm in an Agency!!!!! And I'm only 5ft 1in! more
