Emerald City Ballroom

I recently moved to Ohio from another state and wanted to find a high caliber dance instructor to continue my dancing, as my previous dance teacher and his partner was named 5th in the World in their category. I called around and checked reviews, and found that many of the studios had elements about dance studios I didn't like. I found one in Dublin that at the time was a 1 hour drive, but wanted to check it out. I am now taking lessons with Jeff, the owner, and couldn't be more thrilled! \r \r He brings everything I loved about dancing out of me, plus adds a whole lot of fun. The lessons make me feel great and I have learned so much more in a shorter period of time than I learned from my previous teacher. Jeff's a fantastic teacher and makes dancing fun. My husband and I started taking ballroom dance lessons for our son's wedding, and we kept taking lessons because we're having so much fun. It's a wonderful hobby that we can do together for a long time to come. We enjoy taking lessons here because the staff is very friendly and caring, as well as the lesson prices are among the best in town. more

I have taken dance lessons at a number of studios, and Emerald City Ballroom is by far the best. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and everyone, including staff and students, is friendly. The studio itself is very attractive, and the floor is one of the largest in town. The selection of music played is current and varied. And, there is plenty of free parking nearby. \r \r I appreciate that my instructor, who is also the owner, stays current with dancing trends, including maintaining professional certifications. I appreciate that I can schedule lessons when they are convenient for me, either during the week or on weekends. I like that the studio offers advanced level group classes, which can be hard to find. Many places will offer only beginner level classes; this one offers both. Finally, I like that I can pay as I go along; I don?t have to sign any contracts. I would recommend Emerald City Ballroom to anyone looking for a great ballroom dancing experience. more
