Elvie's has always been known for great drinks at great prices. No bar can beat their prices for beer, wine and cocktails, which are all double pours by the way. I know it's not a fancy place, but the crowd is friendly and so are the bartenders. I always feel safe there. more

This place is as dive as it can get. The bartender (I heard she is not there anymore but I don't care to go back to see) would ignore you and serve only the regulars or guys. If your a girl forget about it, unless you wait and wait and wait at the bar. It is filled with smoke and is not a place I would go back to. I have been many times and each time I go my friends and I are extremely disappointed. more
