I had a previous fusion attempt that never healed by a surgeon in High Point. That surgeon told me nothing else could be done to relieve my symptoms. Dr Stern was able to operate and fuse my spine and repair the damage caused by the previous doctor. Dr Stern has always been very professional and compassionate while providing me with the best care. He has given me a better quality of life and continues to monitor me as I try to move forward with my disability. Dr Stern deserves the highest reviews and praise for his surgical skills and bedside manner. He is the best!!! .-Michael Lanning more

My experience with Dr. Stern came from an unfortunate ordeal with another. Dr Stern literally came in to my hospital room, took my case at a moment's notice, and provided me a pain-free life experience in a matter of two hours in the OR. I couldn't reccomend him any higher. When I first met Dr Stern I was in the Emergency Room and could hardly talk. He did a craniotomy for a subdural hematoma. Next morning, all was well. Lower back pain because of three, four and five discs needing repair. Five hour surgery by dr. Stern has worked beautifully. Dr. Stern has helped us both tremendously. My husband had back surgery performed by Dr. Stern several years ago. Sometime later I begin to have visual disturbances which led to a menegioma diagnosis. There was no question as to who would do my surgery. The procedure was a success as I knew it would be. We had so much confidence in Dr. Stern, with all of the past issues he had helped for my husband.
