Dr.Ellenbogen was able to do what no other doctor could do for me and that is to fix my acne scars. I had tried everything. Dr. Ellenbogen did a fat grafting procedure with dermabrasion. The results were better then I ever expected. Not only do I have smother skin but the fat grafting makes me look at least 5 years younger. The staff and Dr. Ellenbogen were friendly and professional. I wish I had found him earlier so I would not have wasted so much money on laser treatments and injections that did not work. more

Dr. Ellenbogen and his staff are amazing!!!!!!!\r I researched for 3 years on who and what I wanted. I chose Beverly Hills Body because of the knowledge and artistry he brings to the table The computer images that Dr. Ellenbogen and I agreed upon and his taking his time and explaining to me of why I would NOT be happy with a brow lift. He did a great job on sculpting the bridge of my nose, thus creating a softer profile. However, he completely missed the boat while injecting fat into my lower lip. Gravity pulled the fat all down into a big bump below my lower lip. I visited him once a month for the next 6 months, asking him to please remove the excess bump of fat. He said that it would resolve itself. It never did. I tired of constantly asking him to correct it, and realized that he was never going to do it. Dr. Ellenbogen has the most gentile touch. I had Rhinoplasty and neck lipo done 2 days ago. I don't have any bruising and I don't have any pain. I only feel tenderness in my neck and my nose feels like I have a congested cold, but that's all! He is truly amazing at what he does. I am of Armenian and Middle Eastern decent so I had an ethnic nose, he gave me a nose I could have been born with. None of that cookie cutter nose jobs... Where every other girl you see has the exact same nose. He understands the art of plastic surgery more so then any other Sergeant I had consultations with. I went to about 5 different doctors in the Los angeles area before I chose Dr. Ellenbogen. Please take my advice and choose him to do your nose. you only want to do this once so make the right choice in your sergeant and go with Dr. Ellenbogen. more

I can't speak for anyone else, but I had an incredible experience with Dr. Ellenbogen. He is very kind and professional, and gives you all of the information you need to know. Before my surgery, he took pictures and showed me exactly which lines he wanted to change on my body, and 4 months later, looking at my before and after pictures, he did EXACTLY what he said he was going to do. I got silicone implants, and they look and feel SO real. They are in a great position on my body (not too high or too low) and the incisions are disappearing very quickly. The surgery was a breeze - the nurses were so sweet and made sure that I was very comfortable and happy. I was really nervous but his whole team (nurse, anesthesiologist, and dr.) made me feel really taken care of. My pain afterwards was not too bad, I didn't have to take any prescription pain medication, I just relied on tylenol (and valium for the first couple days). I was back to the gym in two weeks, driving in one week, and most of my pain was gone by the first month. I am SO happy with my decision - if you want a great boob job, don't make a mistake and go with a cheap doctor - Dr. Ellenbogen is worth every penny. Also: his assistant Sarah is the absolute sweetest person, and she will take care of your every need. She answered so many of my random questions pre- and post-surgery by email within 24 hours. She also doesn't give off anything close to that pretentious bev hills vibe that you get from a lot of people who work in plastic surgery - I fully trusted that I'd chosen a great doctor after talking with her for a couple minutes. Summary: I wouldn't change a thing, Dr. Ellenbogen is an artist. more

My father had a large skin cancer removed at the corner of his mouth and when it healed it scarred down tightly and he couldn't open his mouth. He couldn't eat or talk very well. Also the corner of his mouth turned down making him look unhappy.The doctors he went to couldn't fix it. I asked a client of mine whose husband is a plastic surgeon. Dr Ellenbogen took one look at it and of all the doctors i had consulted, he said he could fix this for my dad. He did the surgery in his Beverly Hills surgery center. . Not only can my father eat normally he looks as if he did before he had the extensive skin cancer surgery. We are so grateful to Dr. Ellenbogen .He treated my dad who is a cab driver with the same respect he gives to his celebrity clientsl.Bless you Dr. Ellenbogen. This note is difficult to write because it is hard to find words that adequately describe the fantastic surgical result I had with Dr. Ellenbogen. He is an artistic \r and surgical genius. \r \r He was able to do what no surgeon before had been able to do-- figure out a way to radically improve my appearance. \r \r I did an incredible amount of research before \r deciding to select Dr. Ellenbogen. I read countless medical journal articles, talked to other highly respected plastic surgeons, and did many other things. After all that research I concluded that he was among the best plastic surgeons not just in the country but on the planet. \r \r Dr. Ellenbogen did a facelift, rhinoplasty, lip lift. lower blethroplasty and fat grafting on me. That was over 3 months ago. I felt almost no pain after the surgery \r and only used 2 pain pills total after the surgery--just as a precaution even though I was not feeling pain just slight discomfort. The first week I was very swollen but \r after that the sweeling went down quickly. \r \r Once all the swelling was gone, the results were postive far beyond my expectations. \r \r After the surgery I happened to talk to a nurse who provides aftercare for the patients of over 25 different plastic surgeons in the L.A. area. I asked her if she \r could go to any surgeon she wanted--anywhere-- who would she choose. Without hesitation she replied, ""Dr. Ellenbogen, because he is the very best."" I wish I had \r known her before the surgery because I could have avoided having to do so much research, because she not only has observed the surgical results of these doctors herself, she also has nurse and doctor friends who also know who the very best surgeons really are.\r \r If you are considering having plastic surgery, I would advise you not to do it unless you believe it is really necessary and you really want it. Any surgery has risks. BUt if you are going to do it, I believe Dr. Ellenbogen is absolutely the best surgeon I have known, read about, or heard about. \r \r The most important things I can tell you are to find out and understand all the risks and to have your surgeon take photos of you and use software to show you with the photos exactly how he/she believes you would appear after the surgery. If you rely only on a surgeon's spoken or written description of how he/she believes you will appear, after the surgery you might find that the surgeon had a much different idea of what you wanted than you actually did. You absolutely do not want that.\r \r Dr. Ellenbogen took photos and then showed me on the photos how I would appear after the surgery. You should have your surgeon show you the intended result both in profile and from the front, like Dr. Ellenbogen did. \r \r Please realize that no surgeon, even Dr. Ellenbogen, is perfect. You have to be realistic and not expect perfection, only a positive result. You also have to have\r patience while the swelling goes down. I feel so fortunate because Dr. Ellenbogen came close to perfection with me and even exceeded the positive change in my appearance that he had predicted in the photos he had shown me before the surgery of \r the surgical result he intended. \r \r \r He has an incredibly kind staff in his office and they were especially helpful in the days after the surgery. \r \r I normally do not post notes on the Web anywhere. I just read the very few negative reviews of Dr. Ellenbogen and one said he/she found the positive reviews ""skeptical"". I find that one skeptical and that person did not even have surgery. I discovered Dr. Ellenbogen after doing a web search for the best plastic surgeons in the country. I had recently had breast augmentation in my home town, Eugene, Or., by ""THE"" leading, top-notch surgeon. I had pain any time I moved my arms and they were very hard--but the doctor insisted it was all normal. I contacted Dr. Ellenbogen's office as a fluke (because I am by no means wealthy), and described the problems. He called me himself a few days later and discussed the problem. I was amazed that a Beverly Hills surgeon would call someone himself and he was genuinely concerned and empathetic. I decided to fly there for a consultation. I found him to be extremely kind, personable, very easy to talk to, very professional. I think his credentials and real reviews and ratings speak for themselves. I had a revision done and he found what was suspected: severe capsular contracture with hardened tissue all the way to my arm pit! And this was seconded by colleagues who attended the surgery. I was so angry at the doctor who performed the original surgery, who saw me for months afterwards but refused to acknowledge my concerns--I was in pain cooking dinner every night! I should write a review about him! Somebody else mentioned over the muscle vs under the muscle. I am very thin too but he also placed the new ones over and other than looking a little perkier than my age, they look and feel very natural. Under the muscle (for me-I am sure this is personal preference), was uncomfortable when I worked out at the gym. In addition, I had a serious injury when I was 20 that left permanent nerve damage. Dr. Ellenbogen has tried and succeeded several times at alleviating that pain when even neurologists have failed and this was done at nominal cost, purely out of an attempt to alleviate pain. I know very few doctors who actually want to help a patient in this day and age. Again, Dr. Ellenbogen is easy to talk to, answers all questions thoroughly, and is an expert in his field. Additionally, I cannot say enough good things about the surgical staff--the anesthesiologist and the nurses with me pre and post-surgery were so unbelievably kind, compassionate, and patient. It is a scary time but they make it easy and the doctor comes to reassure you and answer any final questions beforehand. I felt like I was in very good hands from start to finish and the results exceed my expectations. I would recommend Dr. Ellenbogen and his staff to anyone. more

It was a match, so I made an appointment for a consultation. I was really excited and a little anxious, and remember the counselor asking me if I needed more time to think about it, but I couldn't wait any longer and felt ready. Before my consultation, I was not aware of the elements that make up a balanced profile- nose, chin, and fat under the eye area. I saw that I needed a bit more work than I thought. Eventually I got a chin implant and fat grafting which balanced out the rest of my profile. The results were truly amazing, my nose became proportional and prettier, my chin more masculine, and cheek/under eye area younger-looking. The fat grafting procedure uses your own stem cells as well as fat to smooth out and plump an area that may look sunken in. It actually promotes collagen growth and can make you look years younger. I'm so satisfied with the results and the boost of self confidence it has given me. I would always turn my face to try to hide the bulbous tip and the relatively large size of my nose when taking photos, but no longer have to. I fortunately found Dr. Ellenbogen through Gayle Anderson's Chanel 5 News segment on The Best Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles, trusting that Gayle did thorough research, I decided to go for a consultation. My consultation was long, detailed and extremely informative, at the end, I knew without-a-doubt that this is ""The Doctor"" for me. He is skilled, talented, gifted, well-respected, knowledgeable, has 30+ years of experience and impressive accreditations, but he's about much more than his A+ skill set, he's brilliant at aesthetics, to me he's an artist, and he understands women and beauty along with being kind and caring... We decided together that I could significantly benefit from: an eyebrow/forehead lift, removing the fat packets from under my eyes, doing a neck lift, and facial fat injections. I had my surgery in January 2011, everything went very well, I was surprised at how fast my body healed and that I didn't even need pain med's, the truth is that I had a significant amount of work done and it was quite easy to recover from. I went to Dr. Ellenbogen 3-1/2 months ago for a rhinoplasty revision. After my consultation with Dr. Ellenbogen, I decided to also have a fat graft, face lift and neck lift, buccal lipectomy and a corrected chin implant. He also did some work on my eyes. I could not be happier. This was to correct and improve some mediocre work I had done 10 years ago by another Beverly Hills surgeon that left me with an obstructed sinus and chronic sinus congestion. I am breathing freely now, sleep better at night and look terrific. The office staff is terrific. They are all warm, friendly and attentive. The surgical staff was also wonderful and the facility is state of the art. I could not have been more comfortable. I had a LOT of work done, but I look completely naturally myself. I realize this is not the timely response you were looking for but I think this response will be helpful for others. Eight days ago I had a facelift, and fat transfer. I am 53 years old and prior to my surgery I looked pretty good for my age, but I wanted Dr. Ellenbogan to make my face look more like I use to about 10 years ago as m cheek bones were starting to show gravity, and the area above my eyes was starting to look a bit hollow. I was quite nervous about this. I actually looked for 2 years to find a plastic surgeon I would be comfortable with and ended up flying out of state to come to Dr. Ellenbogan. I made the choice to seek him out based on his before & after pictures online. They just seemed to reflect a natural look, and actual improvement. When I arrived to his office, my first impression was that his office was a bit dated, but I quickly reminded myself, that the reason I came was not to see an updated office. I then met Dr. Ellenbogan. What impressed me was that he looked at my face and I didn't feel like he wanted to change me much, but he could also tell me what we could do to gain the result I was looking for. I was pleased to hear him respond with appropriate suggestions that made sense to me. He also used his computer to show me the differences. It seemed he went to great length to make sure I really would know what to expect. I asked him if he could bring the corners of my eyes up a little, because I like that look in other women. His response really surprised me. He said Tricia that would not look right on you and I don't want to do it. It would ruin your sweet look. You are not exotic. This response was a surprise, but I knew then that he cared about his results, and he also cared about his patients. I didn't commit to the surgery that day but I did leave with a general feeling that this guy knows what he is doing and that if I chose him, I would be in good hands. I should also say that 20 years earlier I had a face lift that didn't go all that well. They did an upper bleph & took too much fat out. They also tightened too much on one side so my face was a bit lop sided. So I was not a simple case. I did make the decision to have my surgery with Dr. Ellenbogan, and I had it 8 days ago. I have to tell you, I am completely amazed. My face looks symmetrical & although I'm still a little puffy, I can tell I'm going to look 10+ years younger. He added the fat back in my eyes, also a little fat grafting, and also performed a neck & face lift. I honestly couldn't be more thrilled! I should tell you that the reason I'm writing this review is for patients who have just had surgery with Dr. Ellenbogan. Although I checked his references via phone I did not go online to read reviews until after my surgery. Thank God because I might have been too scared to have the surgery based on a few of these reviews. One thing seems clear to me, that someone is angry with Dr. Ellenbogan and many of the bad reviews have come from that same person. What I didn't appreciate was that the reviews scared me. So this person is doing a disservice to other people, not just Dr. Ellenbogan. I can't say enough. THIS GUY IS GOOD! Take your time with him, and make sure you are realistic with what can be done. If you are, you will be happy. This guy knows what he's doing. Look up his credentials. Their office asked me if I would be willing to be on their website. I really can't do that because I am known publicly, but I wish I could. I hope this is helpful for you. If you've already had surgery with Dr. Ellenbogan, give it a week before you judge how you are going to look. The face swells so funny that it's really hard to get an accurate picture before 1 week. I have the best breasts of all my girlfriends. They are soft and lay flat when iI do. They bounce naturally when I walk and they are just the right size. Dr. Ellenbogen is a mindreader. I didnt even need a pain pill and the incision is only 1 inch long.Why go to his students when you can go to the teacher of them all.\r Also my mother had a facelift the same day and we recovered together. We both threw away our pain pills we didnt need them. She looks like my sister and now she wants her breasts done by Dr. Ellenbogen. more
