Elkhorn Outdoor Sports

I've been doing business here for about 4 or 5 years and have always walked out feeling good. The people that work there are always friendly and glad to help you out. One time the guy that was working at the time taught me how to tie a rig to get my bait off the bottom and then walked me out to my boat to do some more fish talk. You don't get that at the big name stores. There is a rack of spinners that are made locally. I like that. Keep the money at home when you can. As far as a house next door. What's the problem there? I don't get that complaint at all. It's a down home store relax and be friendly. They are great people. Thanks for all your help. more

Well guys I was just in there a couple days ago and things are looking really good!! Everyone was busy stocking the shelves and helping customers. The staff is very friendly....kind of that old home feeling....They answered my questions and helped me find what I needed. Come on Salmon season, .I know where I'm getting my gear.\r more

This ""struggling"" business has been at the same location for 45 years!, geeze dude, know a little about the facts before you flap your lips!! I didn't know you were opposed too people living in houses, not that anyone lives in the one your talking about anyway. I guess its their fault D.O.J. has strict rules on the purchase of firearms, maybe you should talk to your local politicians instead, but then again, elkhorn bait and tackle doesn't sell guns, guess that's ANOTHER screw up on your part! \r They have a new owner, a licensed guide that has lived and worked in the Sac. area all his life, and is dedicated too serving this community with great service, honest fishing reports, and the best live and frozen bait in the area. It's a hole in the wall. A struggling backyard outfit. For crying out loud there's a flipping house with people living in it right next store. Let's try to be a little my professional with trying to sell your product. Small area with to much stuff pack into one spot, trying way to hard to make it seem like your a big empire with something to prove. I've bought one gun from them and I'll never buy another gun from them again. They put me through the ringer, wanted me to sign my life away. I felt like my kids couldn't go to collage after I left there. If you want something for hunting shop online or go to a well accomplish outfit with go and honest service. Thanks more

i used to work at Elkhorn B&T and i loved it. the employees were very courtious. people always tried to make deals and say we were always high in price but thats the gun buissness for ya. we were not high we were right on point with our pricing. all you people that won guns at a show and wanted full value for a trade in your crazy, why would we give you full value on a gun that you won in a show. we lose money on the deal. we always tried to give you a fair deal and you always though we were trying to screw you. why try to trade in a gun you won anyways, just take it and enjoy it. ....to the guy that thinks the management is bad ,well your wrong, the mngment there was just fine. if you want to haggle for new guns go to craigs list, if you want to get a custom piece go to elkhorn...
