I love Elkae Salon! I am hesitant to mention ( only because I want to keep her all to myself), Leah is a rare gem among thousands of hair stylists. Not only is she incredibly talented and beautiful she is well versed in the latest styles/hair design trends but she is also a truly down to earth, friendly lady who will actually listen & provide valuable input to ensure you are really happy with the end result. Hair appointments can be stressful, but not when you're at Elkae Salon. Never again will I trust these locks to anyone else...Leah-4-Ever!!!!! more

I never review a salon until at least a few days after my haircut. I find that it gives me time to more accurately access how it looks and functions in my everyday life. Well, I'm happy to report that I love my haircut just as much now as when I had it done last week. The MGMT here were able to fit me in for a next day haircut appointment without any problems. I loved the convenience of not having to make an appointment a week or two before I could actually be seen. When I got there, I was happy to discover that there is plenty parking available. The salon itself is quaint. Leah was great. She was friendly and really translated my unclear ramblings into a great cut. I've gotten tons of compliments on it. I just had my first time visit at Elkae Salon and it was fantastic. The stylists were warm and friendly and the location was perfect. I had not visit a salon for almost 3 years and my hair needed some tender loving care. Leah examined my hair and new exactly what to do to make my hair look trendy and fresh. Leah is the best hairstylist out there. If you want someone who is nationally recognized and extremely experienced I would recommend Leah at Elkae Salon. SHE IS FABULOUS!!! more

I had been shopping around for a new hairdresser for quite sometime. I was referred to Leah while out shopping at one of the local hair care stores. I was shopping for color & hair extensions. When I scheduled with Leah, we had a very nice afternoon which included alot of laughs with everyone in the salon. My hair color and my extensions are beautiful. Leah was the PERFECT choice for all my hair needs. I will DEFINITELY be seeing Leah on a consistent basis from now on. more

Elkae Salon saved my hair......Last week I had received a hot pink flyer with Elkae Salon's address and phone number on it. I had just finished a keratin treatment a month ago from a different salon. The woman who provided the treatment had left my hair dull and very brittle. I decided to call Elkae Salon and I spoke with Leah. She advised me to come in for a consultation. Elkae Salon is the best hair salon. Leah gave me a wonderful new hair color and keratin express treatment, too. She told me that the Keratin treatment would lock in my color and I would also reduce my drying time, and frizz too. My hair feels so silky smooth. I love it!!!! more

I usually would not waste my time posting a review....My wife would go to different hair salons in search of the right stylist and each time she would return home she(...each time more of her hair would be gone!)she would be more depressed. After 3 years, she had very, very short hair. She started researching hair extensions after being out with her girlfriends one evening. We started searching the Tampa, St. Petersburg, & Clearwater areas for just the right salon(and STYLIST!!!!). We had formulated a list of the different salons and the cost of the extension service....$500-$1500. WOW!!!!! That's alot of money.....and was told that was CONSIDERED inexpensive compared to a couple of years ago. We called/viewed salon websites online. Elkae Salon STOOD OUT to both of us. She scheduled her COMPLIMENTRY CONSULTATION and met with LEAH, her new STYLIST. She scheduled her extension appointment and purchased her hair. It has been 3 weeks now since my wife's extension service. My wife is NO longer depressed but EXUDES a certain CONFIDENCE. She even receives COMPLIMENTS from complete strangers. Leah stayed late that evening; well after her closing time. Leah's price, and her salon's GUARANTEE, were well below any of the prices we were quoted. My wife's extensions and her new COLOR are PERFECT. Come to find out, Leah, is a CERTIFIED MASTER COLORIST, too. We will be telling ALL of OUR friends about ELKAE SALON. Jack more

I have super frizzy/curly hair. My hair goes crazy in every kind of weather. It has given me problems ever since I was very little. I went to Elkae Salon to get a CHI chemical straightening after long deliberations and after consulting with many people, some of who mentioned keratin treatments. After consulting with Leah, at Elkae Salon, we decided it best to try a CHI straightening for the best results for my request. I will tell you that the porosity of my hair is even and silkier than it has ever been and my curly/frizzy hair issues have been resolved for the first time in my life. This is life altering, in that I feel more beautiful than ever. Thank you so much for restoring my confidence in my appearance and for taking so much time and perfection on my hair!!!!!! (at an obviously understated price......which was quoted 600 and above at two area salons) I did not pay anywhere near that amount for beautiful hair. more

ELKAE SALON IS THE BEST HAIR SALON IN FLORIDA!!!!!! I went to Elkae Salon after looking for hair extensions and color online. I was brought to Elkae Salon's website. After carefully reviewing the website I called and spoke to Leah. I explained the services that I wanted to receive. We made an appointment and I received $75 off the current hair extension services she offered for Valentine's Day. My hair color is beautiful and my extensions actually feel like they are my REAL hair. I usually wear my hair in some sort of twist and for the last couple of days I have left my hair down and all my co-workers think I have always had this long beautiful hair. My Brazilian Keratin Treatment is amazing. I had saved up my money for this service and Leah di a great job with educating me on how to keep my hair looking beautiful. She explained part of the science behind this service. Come to find out that Leah is a certified master educator. Leah said she could do a fade in about 30mins when I first walked in. She had 2 other people getting their hair done, too. I was about to leave when she guaranteed that she was the best hairstylist in town. Well she just got herself brand new client. It is the best fade I have had in years. more
