Love my hair! 7/17/2017

I recently cut my hair short and had it highlighted. I was unhappy with the way it looked and decided I needed to find a color specialist. I met with Leah for a consultation and she recommended several changes. I felt confident with her suggestions. SHE IS A GENIUS!!! The color turned out fabulous and natural looking. My hair is in better condition than when I walked in for my appointment and I love the way she cut and styled my hair. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend her. Thanks Leah! more

I Love LEAH 9/26/2013

Leah, did such an amazing job on my hair. She gave me great tips and advice on how to maintain my hair to be looking and feeling healthy. I also purchased Mythic Oil product that she recommended for me and I Love it!! She even stayed really late to do my hair highlights, treatment, and trim. The best experience I have EVER had at a salon! Thanks Leah. more

All Out Hair!!!! 6/3/2013

I've been going to Elkae Salon for about 5 years, and I can't believe I'm just now writing a review. This is my absolute go to place for everything hair. LEAH is my colorist, and she is excellent. She takes the time to listen to me, walk me through the process, and will talk through a game plan for when I get a wild hair and want to go from black to platinum. She makes sure that I'm happy but and keeps my hair healthy. She is my stylist, too. I can't recommend her enough. She also takes the time to make sure I understand the cut that I'm getting, best practices for styling at home, and will listen to any questions or thoughts I may have about a different style. She is honest and will find a style that works for your face and your lifestyle. The rest of the staff is top notch and so nice and helpful. Leah strives for excellence in all levels, an it shows. I love knowing that when I go there that I'm going to be happy/laugh and coming out looking amazing. Trust me, you'll fall in love with this place just like I did. more

CLIENT FOR LIFE!!!! 1/14/2013

The best PERSONALIZED color & cut I have EVER been given. Leah is a FABULOUS hair artist. Can anyone say "HAIR WHISPERER"? I walked into Elkae Salon to see 4 stylists laughing and having a goo time and immediately felt at ease in this salon. The stylists ARE very good at their craft. There was a variey of age groups present this day and was once again assured by the lead stylist that everyone was classically trained in their craft. The laughter and great music just seemed so contagious that day. I had a great time. The price was very competitive to the skill sets aquired by all the stylists especially compared to the other salons in the area. I received a COMPLIMENT by another client of this salon as I wAs leaving...and from a total stranger!!! CLIENT FOR LIFE!!!!! more

100% Satisfied With Leah at Elkae Salon!!! 11/5/2012

My stylist was Leah and I was 100% satisfied with my hair and the miracle she performed to my frizzy lifeless hair . Leah brought it back to life and took me from a brownish red color to a beautiful soft vibrant beautiful blond . I absolutely love it and would recommend her to anyone , everything was so professional and I felt very comfortable there. This is where I am going to go from now on . more

TERRIFIC, DESIRED, VALUABLE, EXCITED 8/2/2012

I just got a TERRIFIC haircut & style from Leah at Elkae Salon. I was a little skeptical; I've been going to the same stylist for years but wanted a change and Leah spent a considerable amount of time asking me clear questions what I wanted, how I usually wear my hair for various occasions, and what my VISION was for how I'd like to wear it differently in the future. Based soley on my input, she gave me VALUABLE advice about the best way to cut & style my hair. She SUCEEDED at giving me exactly the kind of new look I DESIRED. I am EXCITED about my new hairstyle. Every time i walk into Elkae Salon I am treated like the QUEEN that I am! I will never go to another salon, as long as I continue to get this wonderful "star treatment". I've been coming to the Elkae Salon on East Bay Drive for just under 2 years now and my hair has never been healthier! I have super-fine hair that always fell flat and lifeless due in part to genetics and partly because of over-processing/heat styling. Now I have Leah (my AWESOME certified master stylist!) making sure we gently color my hair as to not damage. She really understands my hair and cuts it in such a way that I look like I have more hair (Leah does an AMAZING job with my fine hair). She always takes the time to understand what I want before doing anything and is sure that I like it when she's finished. Leah takes the time to show me what products would work for me and explains how to incorporate them into my daily routine. I highly recommend the deep conditioning treatments - it will do wonders for your hair. It's definitely worth the extra $!!!! more

Best Hair Salon in LARGO. The stylists at Elkae Salon are as professional with there craft as you can get. I've trusted their professional hair stylists with my beauty and they always exceed all of my expectations. The stylists always make me feel special. The clientele always makes me feel welcomed. Fixed the WORST haircut! 3/5/2012

Leah Saved My Hair!!! First, I have to say, this salon is FANTASTIC!! I just moved here from Miami. I'm new in town & had gotten - just a few hours prior - the WORST haircut of my life at a "top-rated" national chain salon. I called Elkae Salon and literally hours later Leah, fixed my awful haircut and did so with a smile! I will definitely be back in 6 weeks - highly recommended!! more
