Good: How fast they got my transmission done...
(Thinking to my self boy that was fast...?
They make you feel valued...!(Not the true case). Bad: 1.) We had to return three times for troubleshooting.
2.) We were given a new quote after the rebuild was started for an additional 1500 on top of the 1200 we were quoted after their inspection.(obviously they miss things?) 3.) We had to file a case with BBB because we felt decieved while speeking w/ the technicains and owners. 4.)On the 3rd return I was told by the shop inorder to fix my transmission "They put an RV valve boby in my transmission that was laying around the shop"? No documentation of part. Improvements: An investigation of this shop and Techs needs to be done with a fine tooth comb to make sure the consumers are not being abbused. As of 3-23-2011 my corvette sits
w/ a bad part inside that they say is out of warranty cuz im 3 months past 12month warranty. And ive only put 2,500 miles since there RR when the shop says up to 12000miles warrany covered....? And they still wont help? They want more money for another build!. Other: BBB red flaged the shop after our situation but that does not correct the problem; only flags them with no reprocutions. Protect your wallet do not go to Elk Grove Muffler Brake and Transmission!!!!!!!! I have had much better luck w/ other shops in sacramento just not them....
