Ryan fixed my knee and my attitude toward exercise 6/11/2009

Ryan, the well-trained, personable and effective physical therapist here, has a PhD in physical therapy and used to teach at USC. He got my knee back in working order and inspired me to exercise more. Rehabbing an injury is never easy but he made the process smooth, maybe even easier. He's ably assisted by Sean and the receptionist, Liz. This busy office is friendly and accommodating. It's located inside the LA Athletic Club, which is an old-school gym with stained glass and a skylight over the pool. You get in for free with each appointment. Bonus! Parking is discounted to $1.50 in the lot. Pros: expertise, access to historic gym, discounted parking Cons: small office in a gym more

High-quality treatment in an environment that is light and fun! 11/11/2007

I enthusiastically second the great review by the previous poster. I LOVE the crew at Elite Physical Therapy on 7th Street!!! Ryan, Sean, and Dana make my day! Ryan?s ability to identify the appropriate exercise or stretch never ceases to amaze me. They are attentive and supportive and strict (in a good way!) with the physical therapy program. It?s the perfect combination! Adding to this approach is everyone?s incredible sense of humor. It is the perfect environment in which to heal. High-quality treatment in an environment that is light and fun. Guaranteed results and guaranteed laughs. My kind of place! more

Friendly clinic with excellent treatment and patient care 10/4/2006

Ryan, Sean and Dana are the greatest! I've been to two other physical therapy clinics on the East Side (Glendale Memorial & Pacific Coast Healthcare Rehab) and my experience with Elite--now ""Physiotherapy Associates""--was the best by far. The clinic is small, friendly and provided excellent treatment.\r \r Ryan Yamada seemed to really know his stuff, which makes sense as he trained at USC, one of the best PT schools in the country. He's also an expert in sports-related injuries, which was helpful for me as my chronic knee pain was a result of running. Lastly, the clinic's location inside the Athletic Club downtown was super-convenient: after my morning appointments, I could shower and get ready for work right there. I got spoiled by the posh locker rooms, which had every amenity you could think of--even coffee. \r \r Overall, I am grateful to have found Ryan and co. and for the help and support they gave me. I would recommend Elite/P.A. to anyone looking for a good physical therapy clinic. Pros: Friendly staff, no waiting, lots of personal attn Cons: No late evening hours more
