Elite Palace

Elite Palace was the venue for my wedding last month. I couldn't be happier with our choice. The decor, space/lay-out, food/desserts, service and technology (lighting, sound system, screens, stage etc.) are top-tier. My guests were 'wowed'! Just when you think you've seen it all... We got married at Elite Palace on October 29. During an unexpected blizzard in October, we expected for some things to go wrong, but to our surprise, everything turned out absolutely perfectly thanks to the staff at Elite Palace. After a stressful morning-- I felt relieved the minute I walked in the door. The receptionist, Julie, is a sweetheart. The maitre'd worked unbelievably hard all night. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was going according to plan. In our video, we noticed how he literally RAN around the ballroom to communicate our needs to the staff and to all of our vendors. He was by our side during important events such as our grand entrance and cake cutting, always giving us very specific and helpful instructions. Many of our guests were shocked to learn that such a venue even exists in NY. The service was amazing. The girl who was assigned to the bride & groom table basically read my mind all night long. I rarely got to sit down, but the second I did, she immediately was by my side with a glass of water and a dinner napkin to cover my dress so that I do not get dirty. The person that made this possible for us is the owner, Yannik. We met with him MANY times to go over the details and I am sure that sometimes, we drove him crazy! He is the sweetest man and he did a great job making sure we were happy. We visited almost 20 catering halls before we made a decision to book Elite Palace. I am happy that we made the right choice. This hall room has been home to three different events for my family and every single one was a hit. Staff did great at attending our guests and it all looked beautiful. What really surprised me was how the place adapted to the different themes of our reunions throughout the years. Great from weddings to baptisms. All three were fantastic! more

My best friend's parents had their 35th wedding anniversary here and it was so unbelievable! Walking in you feel engulfed into the beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Staff was on time and professional but friendly too. We all had a very good time and I can only imagine the memories of this night. more

We had our daughters baptism there and it was all a very beautiful event. They had every thing arranged and ready for when we arrived from the church. Went there for a friend's wedding, nothing at all liek the good reviews describe it. Unsightly neighborhood and seems just like a big wearhouse that was painted nicely. the food was kinda tasteless. Bartenders and waiters arent so fantastic in the service either. Ask for something and the guy says okay and ignores you for the rest of the night. bathroom looked untended to. more

This place is the the worst catering hall in the tri state area- located conveniently in the ghetto. The owner is terrible!!!! Not only did he double book overlapping weddings on August 28th, he also did not let me reschedule my wedding during the hurricane this weekend. Rather, he re-booked it for me in the midst of the storm for next Sunday, September 4, then called me a day later to say he cannot do it, after I changed all the arrangements and told all the guests. He then had the nerve to suggest I reschedule my honeymoon or get wed after my honeymoon in his UNkosher establishment. On August 28th he held a wedding there at 4 pm for the people he squeezed in for 12 pm that day originally, without first calling us to give us the option to hold our wedding as originally planned or a few hours later. He is now not giving me back the $6000 deposit we left for the wedding, before any food was prepared for us. I am planning a lawsuit against him as we speak. Different prices are charged for the SAME things for different people. Stay away!! There are so many gorgeous places on long island or in queens or Brooklyn that will actually cater to YOUR needs and wishes, and not act like they are doing you a favor. *** UPDATE- We had our wedding on the 4th like we wanted, in a different place. And now instead of returning our money, the attorney of this establishment is threatening to sue for defamation! haha good luck! more

AMAZING!!! This was the perfect place to have our reception, the aura was so calm and inviting. My wife started crying when we were shown the way it would all look, and to see her feel so emotional over it, assured me that it was it. All the staff was so polite and I could tell they were having fun with our family members, and that was nice to see them treated so well. Needless to say we were both very pleased with the turn out. Thank you sooooo much!!! more

Not only is the venue spectacular and unique, but the staff is attentive and professional at all times. I loved that we stumbled upon Elite Palace and were able to spend our reception in a cozy setting that didn't resemble just another hotel's ballroom. I can't say enough about the service we received, as it was above our very high expectations. I wouldn't change a thing about our night here, except that I wish it hadn't gone by so fast! more

Beautiful, elegant and impressive place! My daughters sweet 16 was everything that she could have ever wanted! The whole thing was AMAZING and the staff was doing their job so well, but I'm pretty sure they had fun too! Thank you for helping me make my little girl's special day so perfect. We just got married here on March 26, 2011. We were terrified by the thought of everything going wrong. The workers from Elite answered with patience and assured every question I had with answers. From beginning to end, it was an amazing night.The reception was amazing, and the food was raved about by every guest. The cake was GORGEOUS and delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I haven't heard a single complaint. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! more
