Elite Kids Preschool

My family watched Dateline Hansen reports about child cares and chills ran down our spines. My wife was shaking after that show. We both thought we were so lucky to have our kids at Elite, we just knew already that they were not like that. On Monday when we came to drop our kids off, we saw the owner must have watched Dateline too! A notebook was on the counter with a letter from the owner and all of the cleared background clearance reports on all of the staff. She also had a book of the sexual predators in the area and a note that none of them were clients at her schools and they were keeping an eye on them. That is one of the many things we like about Elite Kids. The forward thinking.... more

The reason I called it a child's happy place, is my child is ill, has tests etc, so my husband and I always say 'go to your happy place'. One day early on in this saying, we ask her 'where' she goes, and she said, she always goes to Elite Kids. She still says that is where she goes. One of many reasons we love Elite Kids is because they are always improving, evolving. Just like me :) more

My family has becoming to Elite Kids since the first one started in the infant room. She is now in Kindergarten this year and just like her baby sister, she has grown up with her friends her and the same teachers along the way. After 5 full years I can say that my family would never trust anyone with our kids, except for Elite Kids. They really are there for the family and you can feel that every day you go in. One day I ask Ms Trish the owner, why she named it Elite Kids and she told me that she let the children in her care choose the name. Then she said she has spent all this time trying to be that for them. more

I was really disappointed with this daycare. My daughter was bitten by other kid there, and the manager did not provide any explanation to me. The other thing is that the teachers are changing really fast, and the manager also move kids from one teacher to another during the day for their (not my child!) convenience. My daughter already was potty-trained before attending this daycare ? they just used diapers without doing attempts to keep her habit. Just terrible experience! more

My son attended this facility for 3 plus years. There were definitely a few great teachers along the way. Ms Kim, & Ms Peggy were the two that really seemed to work well with all the kids. Great personalities as well. The reason we pulled our son out abruptly last August, was because we agreed to let him attend their ""field trips"" which they raved about. My son seemed to have a good time, until one day he came back from a trip to St Edwards Park, with black eyes, and scratches & cuts all over his face & neck. Long story short, our son had gotten ""beat up"" under a slide by an unknown larger child. No reports were made, no phone calls to the parents. No one told us about it until we discovered it. Then upon confronting the situation, and trying to figure it out, the Director, and the main teacher, bold faced LIED to us, saying that it was just a ""Rash"" & some half ass story that he may have been looking through some binoculars to give him the black eyes ...wth? Then admitted that an incident occurred with an older child, but they ""took care of it."" Wth???? (I took my child to the park, where he walked me around & showed me where everything happened & his little 5 yr old friend confirmed what occurred separately) I understand if my child gets hurt, this is part of childhood, but the fact that they lied told me they CANNOT be trusted especially with my child. I'm sorry, but you know when you are being lied to and with the amount of money we paid this facility, I expect them to at least be honest and forthright, not pathetic liars. We also requested a refund for the tuition we paid for the next whole month seeing that he wouldn't be returning due to his injury. No one ever called me to apologize, or explain or anything. My attorney wrote them numerous letters, no response. NICE....I wouldn't trust this place for anything, especially with the care of your child, the most precious gift we have. Knowing how they just swept us under the rug, like nothing ever happened shows their character- So pathetic. Treatment like this is unacceptable!!! For us & for our child who we paid lots of money for proper care, and for any other children/ parents whom they have lied to. more

This is a really good preschool. Happy, light, open, friendly people. We found it from their website, before we moved here and we have never been disappointed. Our children are happy with ""dier chol"" and literally run out to the car daily to go there and they are non to happy when I pick them up after work either. You will not be disappointed here either!! Pros: Teaches spanish & ASL, indoor playground, good teachers Cons: Small outside, meat lunches, pay monthly,not weekly more

I am a mom of 3 very ""active"" boys, who have been asked to leave our last day care because of their ""activeness"", they say ""disobedience"". Elite Kids was willing to give us a chance and in three difference rooms, they did. My boys are very well liked here, they have friends, they have good manners in school now (!) and they are learning school material/academics. Its really exciting for us, because finally others see what we see, loving boys that are just over active. THANKS ELITE KIDS!!! Pros: Great teachers, transportation provided, indoor play area, good food. more
