I found this boarding/training facility on the web and it seemed very nice and very well recommended. I emailed them and requested information, including references, etc., and I was told to "call" and was not provided with additional information. Since I know not everyone likes emailing information, I didn?t think too much about it and just figured a site visit was necessary anyways. I went and did a site visit 1/26/08 and liked the boarding area and the main kennel maintenance lady (she was very nice, didn?t meet the owner) ... However, after my tour I was escorted back into the office and spoke with a different lady. I again requested a list of written references and I was told "we do not have that" without further explanation or offer. I then requested their paperwork, so I could review their contract terms, etc., and was refused a copy. I wanted to see the paperwork that I would be required to fill out and sign, but was again told no... My reasoning was that if I was going to board my dogs there I just wanted to be able to complete the necessary paperwork prior to my arrival. So, I explained this and was again told "no". I thought the lady was rather rude when she stated "we are not communicating". Actually, I was communicating just fine but was denied what I thought should amount to just regular old customer service ... and review of a contract terms. If I was treated like this by their office staff, how would they treat my pets? I am very disappointed ...
