Fine quality work at competitive prices. Paul Smith and his staff do quality work (on par with New York City upholsterers) at a fraction of the cost you would expect to pay in the City. The best recommendation I can think of comes from the local furniture restorers, homeowners, and antique dealers I polled for suggestions when I was looking for an upholsterer to do some work: to a man they have all whole-heartedly recommended Elite. So far they have re-upholstered our living room chairs, a sofa, and a Victorian rocker (including rewrapping springs, repairing frames, and adding double welts and tufting) and the work has been superb. more

This has to be the best shop around the central new jersey area. Paul Smith the owner is a wonderful man he has been in this business since he was 13 years old. He opened his own business in 1996 or 1997. He is fair and won't over charge and is always honest on what it will cost you to have a sofa reupholstered. If thats not enough to convince you he has done some big jobs like sony theaters and celebrities like Blondie. He is frequently in the co- star our local newspaper and is featured in Martha Stuart magazine every month. He is a must see if you want your furniture looking nice and new but I warn you he is very busy so if you want your furniture to have a face lift I suggest not waiting until the holidays thats the busiest time of year. more
