I used to go to Eli's in Matawan and had great service and bagels. Freehold location has a cook that tends to over cook the bagels. More over their is a weekend staff that is rude...

Good bagels 4/16/2006

I used to go to Eli's pretty regularly when I worked on the border of Freehold and Manalapan. They are probably the best bagel in the immediate area although I find them good but not great. They have been around forever so it tells you that many people love this place. more

This place has stood the test of time. It has been around for as long as I can remember and it is probably because they are the best bagels in town. They are always fresh and delicious. The employees are friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend them. more
