Can't go wrong for lunch 8/19/2008

The restaurant was a little difficult to locate (it is on Fair Oaks/Dayton - yellow umbrellas). However, once you find it and grab a seat, you will find the place provides a nice respite from work or shopping in Old Town. They only serve lunch but do offer a variety of seasonal choices in addition to their regular menu. I had the cuban pork sandwich with black bean spread and it was great. They also have a variety of fresh and aesthetically appealing salads. The lemonade seemed freshly squeezed and had just the right amount of tart. Friendly and attentive server. Pros: food, service, location Cons: couple flies inside (the small slow ones) more

AMAZING HIDDEN GEM OF OLD TOWN! SO AMAZING I HATE TO TELL YOU!!! 6/27/2008

Amazing place, Amazing food, Amazing hidden gem of Old Town Pasadena. I'm reserved about writing a five star review as I would like to keep it to myself, but hey. Sometimes you really like something you can't keep it bottled in. The food is brilliantly prepared, served and priced. The menu rotates on a daily basis with a few items that are staples for now. Only opened for lunch (as they do catering too), it makes for great causal lunch dining on the side streets of Old Town Pasadena. Pros: Great food, good price, very very healthy and creative menu Cons: limited seating, mostly outdoors as for the location. But one a wonderful so cal day this is a PRO more

Great Stop for Light Lunch on the Go!!! Love Heritage Wine too-Best Unconventional Tapas Dinner Around 1/5/2008

The Dayton location only does to-go items now, but that is just fine with me because now they do dinner at Heritage Wine Bar on Raymond avenue between Holly and Walnut. It is great because they have hearty hot entree itmes for the winter season, but the portions are just the right size...more tapas style to be exact, and then the selection will change with the seasons so you dont get bored. They have a killer Asian style Osso Bucco, and a great pork and lentil stew with yogurt and tomatoes. Yumm! Plus a wide varitety of imported cheeses, provided by a local company-Nicole's Gourmet Imports. (Try the Brillat Savarin) I really appreciate Elements support of local businesses as well, and for all these reasons, Elements will be my #1 choice when im asked ""Where should we eat?"".....""Why, Elements Kitchen and Heritage, of course!!!"" Pros: The quality of food is outstanding. You ALWAYS get what you pay for. And if you dont like it they WILL compensate you. Cons: The serving staff at Heritage is new to table service so they are just learning, but picking up well in my opinion. more
