Elegant Farmer the 11/23/2005

I absolutely love the Elegant Farmer. Every year we got here to buy bagged pies, and pumpkins. We try the samples they have out, and sometimes even buy the apples that they have grown. I hoep someday I can take my children there too. more

Elegant Farmer 1545 Main Street Mukwonago WI 262-363-6770 Retail and food store - the best pies Everyone that has ever tried the Pie in a Bag - LOVES IT!!!! So, if you haven't had the pleasure - get to Mukwonago and buy one. I know that there are several stores in Milwaukee that sell the pies - but just take the drive yourself and get the fresh ones! They have a fun store with plenty of food and gift items - perfect shopping for the person on your list that is tough to buy for - but loves to eat!!! We get to Muk-town several times a year and ALWAYS pay a visit to this fine establishment. more

Apple Pie in a Bag? Yes please! 7/25/2005

I used to work at a store that carried Elegant Farmer pies and we used to wait at the door for the delivery man to come just to get a smell of those delicious apple pies. Baked in a bag to keep the taste and smell in, this is a great concept, and the pies are just delicious. The factory is located in Mukwonago and you can go there to get some pies as well as buying them in selected stores. They are a little more expensive than most pies, but def. worth every single penny you spend! more

APPLE PIE IN A BAG 7/25/2005

Oh man! I was first turned on to the apple pie in the bag from a promotion of the PBS auction. This pie.. is so good! And you can only get it here. But don't let me interfere with your thoughts...they have ALL kinds of scrumptious goodies. Fresh baked goods, pies, cakes, breads, rolls, cookies, pastries, the list goes on. Fresh jams and jellies too!! It's a nice drive out to the country for some fresh air and good fresh food. Dont forget the milk! Many items are seasonal. So if it is blueberry time..the theme there will be blueberry everything. From jams, jellies, pies, cakes, breads, muffins, and the list goes on. more
