I also had a terrible experience. This girl answers the phone when I called in and sounded like she was sleeping while it was 3 in the afternoon. I then told her I needed to have someone come out and look at my water heater, she replied back and said that her boyfriend is the owner ""Miles"" was hung over and wouldn't be taking calls today....Are you kidding me!!! more

I called to have a repair done and they don't come out in the snow. They didn't do the repair when promised. They chagred $365 to replace a $70 part that took 20 mins of labor. When questioned about the job cost, they said it cost $280. They promised to repay the over charged amount after repeated phone calls, but have not sent a check after 2 months. It's good to know that I'm still on his ""to do"" list! more

I rang looking for an estimate on some pretty straight forward work and was told they would only come out and give me an estimate if I paid then $75, which was fully refundable once they completed the job. Eldridge Plumbing & Heating in Ashland is the most unprofessional contractors we have ever used. ""Miles"", who answers the phone, will gladly service your air conditioning unit, but has admitted to me that it is his standard that they will only get it back up and running, without diagnosing any other issues. They came to our house three times to fix the same problem. The first time, they came out said that the fuse was burnt out, quoted $190 to fix it, and they did. It was only after they finished that ""Miles"" told me that ""there is no guarantee"" that it will work for long. Then, 30 minutes later, when the fuse broke again, they charged me another $210 to replace the entire fuse box. Cons: Will not stand behind their service guarante more
