Stayed two days but housekeeping never showed up; dirty mat on floor in bathroom; barking dogs left alone in hotel rooms; moron at front desk called my room at 1am to confirm that I was actually in the room as the system showed the room as vacant- scared the crap out of me. Manager recited the usual lines about how sorry they were to inconvenienc me - bla, bla bla. Stay at the Inn and Spa at Loretto - it's much more charming Pros: location, nice staff Cons: disorganized more

Attractive and comfortable 9/12/2005

El Dorado is a very attractive southwestern decor hotel. There is a rooftop health club and pool that overlook downtown Santa Fe. Very comfortable rooms with nice ammenities and a lobby bar with big cushy chairs set around a large open fireplace. I would definately stay here again if I return to santa fe. Pros: Location, Decor, Comfort more
