This quiet corner on lark, boast an extremely romantic and private vibe while still maintaining a good selection of foods and wines, with realistic pricing to boot.Thats it in a nut shell. \r
Hers more if you are interested.\r
In the five years i quietly patronized the establishment. Sometimes Elda herself sits in the far corner , like a loving mother watching over her children playing.\r
Birthdays, anniversaries, Special occasions , First time dates, no matter the occasion, you'll enhance your mood at Elda's.\r
The menu has every category covered, but surprisingly the seafood is the best ive ever had. The largest shrimp served reside here. and the clams and mussels are never over cooked. I recommend the ""au fruti de mare""(a bed of linguini mixed in a lobster sauce, with clams mussels shrimp and un-breaded calamari.)A Pinot Grigio goes well with this meal. Don't like wine? try the chocolate martini.\r
Menu is flexible, they can make dishes not presently being served. Who needs large groups? Come here to getaway from the world and it will feel like just the two of us. Still quiet on my Birthday, even thought the other room was having a Obama Barrack fund raising. I still felt like i was dining privately. Love the window view, its a bit drafty, dress warm in winter.Parking is crammed but is expected when visiting Lark st. at night. Not trendy enough? go to Maguires across the street, and pay double price, for a loud college bar atmosphere.
Pros: Quality of food /service
