Great Food 1/11/2006

I made reservations for Valentines day and the food was incredible. Even though they were extreamly busy we didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed our dinner and the cheesecake was to die for. The service was excellent. Highly Recommended Pros: FOOD, SERVICE, QUALITY Cons: EXPENSIVE more

$25 Brunch 6/22/2004

My wife and I went made reservation for Father's Day brunch, what a disappointment! For $25 per person we expect menu items to be more than the regular sausage and potatoes (cocktail shripm and crab legs aren't exactly "fine food"). It's a mistake we will NOT repeat. On the other hand, the regular menu is excellent, still pricey. more

  • The Scene
From the red-tile roof with yellow stucco walls to its meticulously manicured landscape, this seafood establishment conveys an urbane, Mediterranean character. Each room displays a distinct mood through color and decor: the 500 Room, the Fireplace Room and others are cozy with dim lighting and intimate curved booths. Live jazz provides a subtle backdrop for impeccable service.

    The Food

Beefsteak tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette or a cool summer salad are excellent appetizers. But this is no place for vegetarians: it's strictly surf or turf, except for the Sunday brunch. Steaks are fired over a blend of mesquite, oak and cherry woods on Keystone's wood-burning grill; seafood is flown in fresh daily. Portobello fries are among the unique sides. Diners enjoy one of the city's best wine lists, which is equaled only by the selection on the cognac cart wheeled to tables after dinner.
