this place is really nice inside,theres two sides to it pretty cool. the food is ok its not bad at all but iv had better.And the price is a little much. But the atmospere is nice.

El Tio Pepe is the BEST! 9/21/2006

I lived in Victorville most of my life and I have always enjoyed going to El Tio Pepe, now that I live in Orange County I eat there everytime I return. I always get a #2 which is a cheese enchilada, rice and beans and it is the best enchilada, rice and beans i've ever had! They do have bad days sometimes as I'm sure every restaurant does but usually it's the best! Their chips and sals are really good as well as their salad with Italian. Yum! more

NOT REAL MEXICAN FOOD 6/13/2006

This is not real Mexican food. It is just poor left overs reheated and reheated over and over. I know real Mexican to Mexican-American food and this is not it. Best to go some were else. Try Taco Bell. more

Go Somewhere Else 2/1/2006

Don't bother to go to this restaurant for a Mexican dinner. The food is mediocre. It seems like it was prepared hours before, and then heated up when we arrived. It has the atmosphere, a good location, and a large bar area, but if you are wanting a good meal, don't go here. I have tried out this place several times, and every time I go I am disappointed. I don't judge a restaurant on one visit. I do give them several chances, just in case that one particular day was a bad day for them. I have yet to see a good day, so I am not going there any more. more

Dinner Out 8/18/2005

Almost every time we go out to eat, we end up at El Tio Pepe. The food is great and is such a great value. The portions can be very large depending on what you order. The prices vary from low to high, but the food is worth whatever price you pay. The menu has a great variety of food, including American dishes such as steak and hamburgers. Everyone will be able to find something they like. more

I love El Tio Pepe. The food is great, the service is great. The prices are inexpensive compared to other restaurants. The portions on the meals can be large depending on what you choose and the food is always good and prepared to order. They have a bar and on the weekends there is usually a DJ or some event happening. They do also have a Sunday Champagne brunch. more
