Inattentive Staff , Flat Margarita and Salty and Cold Food 2/25/2012

The inattentive staff did broke the cardinal rule of standing around chatting with other staff instead of checking up with us. Plus, we were ready for our check but we had to ask; the staff did not even ask if we needed a refill on our drinks--our margarita was also flat. My order was salty and cold. Very disappointing so I will not return. more

Priced for a family of 5 8/16/2005

Great Mexican food for a great price. All meal are under 20.00 There is a full service bar available. Very good authentic mexican food. Homemade salsa and chips. Very busy place, plan on waiting for a table. Food comes out fast. Lunch specials are excellent for the price. Dinning room seats a bunch of people but is tight in space if you need a high chair or accessibility concern I would call ahead for table. Extra chips and salsa now have a charge of $1.25 instead of no charge. Parking lot is sometimes hard to find a spot to park. more

Best Mexican around 8/15/2005

El Rodeo is definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants around. Everything is very authentic and so reasonable. Two people can eat, and eat a lot, for under $20. The service is wonderful and the food comes out so quickly. They also have a great bar - try the margaritas! They serve you chips and salsa which are to die for. I highly recommend the enchiladas and soft tacos. I have eaten at many many Meixcan restaurants and El Rodeo is by far the best around! more

Authentic Mexican Food 7/31/2005

This location is a newer building for an established, popular Harrisburg restaurant. The restaurant is airy and vibrantly colored, and the food is as delicious and authentic as it gets. It is very popular for dinner crowds, so do not be surprised if you have to wait for a table. About once per month, a live mariachi band will entertain. Enjoy a Margarita or a Dos Equis! more
