good chicken 11/2/2006

The food is average, the employees are nice enough, and the food comes out in a fairly reasonable amount of time. I liked the mash potatoes, but didn't really like the chicken tho (I'm picky, what can I say). The atmosphere is a big shaddy; it might be the time of night that I usually ate there.     This restaurant's first roadside chicken stand opened up in Guasave, Mexico in 1975. A family-inspired recipe of chicken marinated in herbs, spices and citrus juices was an overnight success and the Mexican chain opened its first American location in Los Angeles in 1980. Ever since, customers have been devouring the house specialty--zesty flame-grilled chicken served with tortillas and fresh salsa. Other menu options include pollo bowls (rice and chicken), salads and quesadillas.
