El Perico is now located in Franklin Plaza beside the Food Lion. It still has the best Mexican Food I have ever had!

The wait staff is friendly and quick to bring extras. The food is good and presented in an attractive manner. Recommended for a fast taste of good Mexican food that is priced for any pocketbook. more

Good, Quick Mexican 6/4/2010

Not the best looking inside, but then you don't go to a restaurant for that. Or I don't--it's all about the food. El Perrico does have many good dishes, and most things taste pretty fresh. I have had stale chips from time to time, but otherwise, a good authentic Mexican restaurant. more

El Perico 7/12/2005

El Perico is a small Mexican restaurant located in small-town Louisburg. As you enter Louisburg, El Perico is one of the many restaurants you will see. Its bright green exterior it can't be missed. I've only been there twice but their food is excellent. Their fajita platter is delicious. The fajitas are served hot with warm flour tortillas, refried beans, and lettuce. Their staff is polite and take and serve your order promptly. more
