Known by the locals as ?Lucy?s?, Lucy began serving her Mexican style dishes in the late 1930's. She passed on a few years back, but you?ll still find her family in the kitchen preparing her authentic Mexican cuisine. Share a table, make yourself comfortable and order up a cold beer.
El Patio has the charm of a small eatery in a small Mexican village. The tourists seem to pass on by because of the funky colors and the small size of the front of the building. The patio is where it?s at (ergo the name El Patio?)?. Enter thru the gate in the back and put your name on the list. Don?t fret if they seat you `family style? the people are friendly and might even share their pitcher of beer.
I like their famous flour taco and the enchiladas. The chile rellenos are very popular too.
