Back when I was still eating meat, I loved coming here for their rich chicken soup. This is our restaurant of choice when company comes to town. It's in a great old building with an upstairs that's cozy. This is the prom night place to go in Española. My favorite here is the tamales. I want to love their vegetarian chimichanga, but it's got too many beans and not enough of anything else. They serve everything with one of those little iceberg lettuce house salads that are so silly. But the house dressing is good. It has a bar attached that you have to walk through to get to your table, so beware of the smoke.
