After going here one evening with some friends after shopping all day on black friday. We stopped in hoping to try a new mexican restuarant because mexican food is our favorite, this place shocked us, first of all the prices were outrageous for mexican food. They even charge $2.50 extra for more chips and salsa, then the service was terrible, the waitress looked like she never heard someone speak english, and totally messed up the order, they dont ask if you want corn or flour tortillas. Food was subpar only thing good was the flavor of the steak. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Also I spent majority of the morning in the bathroom! went here with my family expecting a nice lunch but was terribly dissapointed. the food was ok but the wait staff was very very rude. they seemed to be in a hurry to serve us and get us out of there even though the restaurant was almost empty. when we told her we needed some time to read the menu she gave us about 30 seconds and came right back. we told her we needed a little more time and she left and came right back about 10 sec later again. then when the food arrived there was little things that she forgot and when reminded she gave us a huge attitude. if this is the was the wait staff normally acts i can see why the restaurant was deserted. she also included gratuity on the check which i did not think that she deserved. when i confronted her about it she argued with me that she had served us and deserved the money. she though that just because she had given us our plates and filled our drinks that she deserved money. i told her that we felt very rushed during our meal and that she had forgotten several things and was very very rude. i paid the tip but i never will go back - and neither will my friends - and neither will ANY ONE i know . i hope a lot of people will read this review and not support this restaurant unless they change their ways. no good restaurant treats their customers this way. this restaurant was one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to. the food was horrible and when i wanted to change my order after tasting my entree the wait staff was very rude. they refused to take the item off my check and charged me for it anyway. at any other normal restaurant they would have been more accomadating and certainly friendlier. the restaurant was also very deserted - i would have to guess that the wait staff is scaring away all the other customers. i would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy - no one should be treated in this manner when they go out to have a good time. i would have to say that the wait staff needs more customer service trainning. the food is good, the service not so much so I wouldn't go back I've given the place many tries in hope that it would get better. instead the portions get smaller and the waittres get smarter. I have waitted for more than 10 min to be seated when the restataurant has been almost empty. The waittress dissapears for long times, drinks needing to reffiled very forgetful, and now they have decided to add 20% tip to the bill I tried to reason with her and told her that I always tip 15% just because. and if the service is really good I dont mind tipping 20% or more but the service has to be good the 15% they will get just for serving the food. She got really upset and called the owner, he seemed a little embaressed and told us not to worry and when he did she told us to get out that she didnt need customers like that I was laughing @ that. I felt bad for the guy whos face was on my fire and my husband was pretty embarrased by the sittuation. so get readdy to pay up for the worst service ever no wonder the restaurant seems more and more desserted. They really know how to make delicious spicy food here. Salsas were incredible, the machaca beef a must-have. Rice is typical but the beans were more tasty than most. Cheese Chile Relleno fantastic.
