Best

This wonderful restaurant closed it's doors in November, 2007. The Cold Spring Drive address is wrong, so don't drive there. It WAS actually on Murfreesboro Road, but it is closed...

NOT THE RIGHT ADDRESS 1/21/2007

My boyfriend and I drove all the way from Cookeville using the directions given on this site. Do you want to know where we wound up? In a neighborhood in Antioch, and let's just say, there was no Peruvian restaurant in site. Word to the wise for City Search.....get your directions right before posting them on the Internet! more

El Sabor Del Peru Pues! 7/16/2006

If you like Peruvian Food, visit this place. If you haven't tried Peruvian food, give it a try. My favorite Chicharon De Pollo(chicken platter) and Chicharon de pescado(fish platter). Oh, and the PARIHUELA(Seafood Soup). Also, give INCA cola a try. I have been to Peru 5 times and this little restraunt gives a little taste of Peru to Nashville without having to go far. Pros: Only Peruvian restraunt in the Mid State that I know of. Cons: Somewhat Small but never has been a problem for me. more

Excellent Peruvian food 7/14/2006

The food is good and plentiful with an authentic Peruvian taste, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean. Pay no attention to the address and directions. El Inca is located beside the K-Mart on Murfreesboro Road near Nashboro Village area. more

good food. questionable service. 7/11/2004

Food is authentic and tastes good, but servers are generally not very friendly. I've eaten there 5-6 times, and almost every time, I feel as if I'm hassling the waitress to even ask for a packet of mayonnaise or something. They often run out of things and will substitute (or leave things out) at their own discretion. Overpriced for the quality/type of food that they serve. No kid's menu and few choices for them - my daughter had to order ""salchipapas"" (cut-up hot dogs and french fries) from the appetizer menu. Fried fish was crispy and delicious but left me wanting more. Seviche, rice (and french fries-strangely enough) are also very good. Did NOT like the roasted chicken, which left a strange aftertaste. Wish they offered fountain drinks and homemade tea, rather than the bottled drinks (and no free refills) that they serve. Pros: fish, seviche, rice, something different, parking Cons: , overpriced, service lacks warmth more
