I fell in-love with the bartender. 7/8/2009

It's a great cozy little Mexican restaurant. Great food. And I met the greatest girl who was working as a bartender that night. Coming from a Texan, giving this restaurant two thumbs up is a big deal. more

The food is amazing, the drinks are diesel and you get a ton of food for the price.....delivery is extremely fast and if you decide to walk in for dinner you wont have to wait more than 10 minutes. more

Best Mexican in NYC! 10/23/2008

I absolutely LOVE El Coyote. The food is GREAT and the prices are even GREATER. I usually order a mixture of appetizers, which are all so filling (and delicious), I never have to order anything else! The guacamole is a MUST -- it's made fresh and to your liking right at your table. The setting is intimate; great for dates or meeting up with your girlfriends after work (drinks are cheap, too!). I've also seen large groups eat here (for celebrations). I highly recommend this place! Pros: Menu Selections, Prices, Fast Service Cons: very small space more

Great food, decent prices 4/28/2008

We went to El Coyote a month ago with friends. It was a huge surprise. What a gem! The food is cooked to perfection. My husband still talks about the steak he had. It was epic! My enchiladas were great, too. We will definitely go back for more. Pros: Food is excellent, price is right Cons: Cute but small interior, parking can be tight more

The food is fresh and delicious especially the guacamole. Where else can you get what seems like a 5lb burrito for about $3? Great find and cheap eats. Could use another waiter when its busy but otherwise one of my favorite places to eat! Pros: Amazing food and price Cons: not really any... could have another server when its busy more

If u want soemthing inexpensive and tasty...this is the way to go..Great soft tacos and guacomole. Shrimps were a bit overcooked. The big entrees are average but the cheap food is spectacular! The Tortas mejicanas which is like a sandwich with beans, jalapenos, your choice of meat, lettuce and tomato, and onions are really savory. Pros: Cheap finds more

Excellent guacamole, fajitas pretty much everything. Found this by accident and glad i did! Actually i'm going there right now. love it. only complaint is that they could use more help. small place but when it's packed they could use more than two waitresses. more

Exciting to the tastebuds 7/29/2002

Food is delicious, fresh and appealing. When your food comes the presentation is excellent and it's exciting to the eyes as well as your tastebuds.
