So-So Food 10/18/2005

I have only been there once, but the food that I had (beef fajitas) was not very good. They atmosphere is fun - very loud and festive. However, my meal was not very good. The beef in my fajitas tasted like it was boiled, not grilled. Boiled beef doesn't exactly have the best flavor. I don't plan on going back there again anytime soon. Though if you do have a big party and want margaritas and beer, it probably wouldn't be a bad choice. more

Great Atmosphere 9/27/2005

El Charro is a great place to go if you have a big group! They cater to big groups well. The atmosphere is great and i love all the painting and decorations inside. They also have a bar side with outdoor seating. It is nice to be on that side on a summer night. The food is, and for it being Lafayette, it is good. It definitely is not Mexico, but it is good and i still keep going there. The prices are, but the waiters and waitress are really nice and the service is quick. I would definitely come here for group events and i would come back food some good Mexican food. more

i personally love mexican food so this place satisfied me and met my needs. So i give it a 3 star. THe burritos are pretty good and give you a lot of beans and you know what they say beans beans beans the more eat the more you fart. This place was good and i think you should go there to eat. more
